Edit: I really called this chapter 11. I'm so slow.

GUYS I SAID I WOULD DO IT its been a few hours since last update so technically (even though its 1:16) uploaded twice today. ALSO, I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH ANY BAND PEOPLE I MENTION as a matter of a fact I actually love like every single band member or just band that i mention. Also now that i have re-read this i realised that twenty one pilots literally didn't exist til 2009 and currently the events that are taking place is in 2008 so- I'm sorry if this timeline makes absolutely no sense. its gonna make even less sense when i actually get to writing this more often. Holy shit i talk a lot

ENJOY!

Chapter 10

I opened the door. "Who are you getting all dressed up for? Oh, wait let me guess. Tyler told me something about a Gerard Way." Awsten fucking Knight. I stared in disbelief as I saw Tyler walking up the driveway. "Now now, you do not get to ask me about my personal life Awsten. You lost that chance years ago." I looked to Tyler with slight disgust on my face. Me and Awsten, we go way back. I dated the guy in middle school and he broke up with me during our Junior homecoming. I guess when you date some guy in Texas he never leaves. "He's just here til Josh gets here. Don't worry." I scoffed and sat down on the couch as Tyler and Awsten went into his room. I began to doomscroll through Twitter. A loud knock was heard from the front door as Tyler practically fell on his face trying to get to it. "I was in no rush to get that." I giggled as I stood up. "Hey, Gerard. Can I talk to you for a sec before you steal her from me?" I watched Tyler slip through the door. Why does bro have to be so quiet, I want to eavesdrop. "...alright. Now you gotta turn around for the grand reveal!" Tyler raised his voice as I walked up behind him. "Just stand there and look pretty, Jesus it's not like I'm selling you!" I looked awkward. I don't know how to impress people. "Now. Turn around." Gerard was wearing a full black tux with a red tie and a small bouquet of roses in hand. "You look..." He trailed off. I could see his cheeks go slightly red. "Amazing, Sugar." He handed me the roses with a big smile on his face. "That's so sweet Gee. You look great yourself." He gave me a soft kiss on the cheek sending all the warmth to my face. "Do you want to put those inside, Pretty Girl?" he said softly in my ear. I gave a short nod as I motioned for him to follow me inside. I opened the cabinet over the sink and pulled out a black stained glass vase filling it with water and the flowers. "They're so pretty, Gerard. I really appreciate it." I placed the vase on the small dining table. "Now, shall we?" He held his hand out to me as Tyler's door opened. Mind you, Tyler's bedroom door is facing where I and Gerard were standing. "So that's the Gerard that he was telling me about!" Awsten giggled "Don't start shit with me today Knight. You're on my shitlist." I rolled my eyes as I pulled Gee out of the house. "So sorry about him. I didn't think he was going to be here." I shrugged as Gerard led me to his car. He was driving a black 144 Volvo. I do not care about the haters. This was a beautiful car. "After you." He opened the passenger door with his free hand allowing me to sit. He softly closed the door and climbed into the driver's seat. "So, where are you taking me?" I looked him in the eyes. "Now that would ruin the surprise, wouldn't it?" he chuckled buckling up and putting the car in reverse.

(I am not writing another in detail fucking driving scene. IM NOT SORRY. I litterally cannot drive so the fact I've given you like three in detail manual car scenes when I cannot drive a manual is actually crazy. Also, I'm not 100% in grasp on how fancy restaurants work, I'm strictly focusing on what I've seen in movies or at Olive Garden. Also since i literally havent mentioned this at all- theyre like between 24 and 26 because im not accurate)

The drive there was kinda long. Bonus points though, I got to listen to Gerard sing. "Frog and Peach?" I looked confused at the name as he hopped out of the car and opened my door. "You'll love it, I promise." I took his hand as he guided us to the entrance. "Reservation for G. Way." Wow he actually got a reservation. He took some deep thought into this. "Right this way, Sir!" The hostess was super energetic. She guided us to a table out back in a small Gazebo. "Your waiter will be out shortly and I will be right back with the wine." She sat two menus down on the table and walked off. "I hope you don't mind the wine, I figured I'd go all out for you." He smiled as he pulled my hand into his and kissed the top of my knuckles. "Also I cannot get over that dress. It's gorgeous, it goes perfectly with the new hair." He let go of my hand as he passed me a menu. "Pick whatever appetizer you would like, Sugar." I nodded and scanned through them. "How about Proscuitto Wrapped Rabbit Terrine?" I pointed to the bottom of the appetizers. "Great choice. You're gonna love that." The waitress came by and poured us each a glass of wine while taking our order. "So, for small talk. Why did you transfer to this school?" I thought for a minute. "To make a long story shorter, my parents are Divorced, they never saw eye to eye. I don't blame them. My mom ended up moving out west leaving me with my dad and his new girlfriend. I had been in middle school by the time I met Tyler and Josh. I got in a really stupid argument with my dad's girlfriend and I ended up moving in with Tyler. Who just so happened to be out in Jersey which landed me here." I shifted around in my seat feeling like I trauma dumped. "Sorry, that could have been answered simpler." He shook his head. "No, no don't apologise. This is a date, I want you to open up to me." he sent me a warming smile as I took a sip of my wine. Honestly, I've never been a big drinker but this isn't too bad. The rest of the night went on like smooth sailing. I could not have dreamed of a better date. Despite what Tyler had said about him. He was an amazing guy. "Oh wait, I almost forgot." We were walking hand in hand out of the restaurant. We were by the car when he turned to face me having me almost pressed against the car. "Yes, Gee?" I placed one of my hands on his cheek. "You mean a lot to me, Sugar." He let one of his hands travel to my waist and the other cupping my cheek. "Will you, be my Demolition Lover." He smirked a little sending me a wink. I leaned in to kiss him as he pulled me closer by the waist sending butterflies. His lips were soft yet also slightly chapped. A few seconds later he pulled away pulling me into a hug. "Yes Gee. I will be your Demolition Lover."
