From 4.03 "In the Beginning", outside the Campbell House, Young Mary jogged toward Young John.

Catty sat in a car across the street, looking toward them in shock. "Mom?"

From 4.03 "In the Beginning", outside of Jay Bird's Diner, there were flashes of Young Mary and Catty fighting.

Catty pushed Young Mary against the wall, noticing that she was wearing a bracelet with protective charms, slowly letting her go in shock. "Are you a hunter?"

From 4.03 "In the Beginning", in Jay Bird's Diner, Catty and Young John sat together at the counter.

Mr. D walked in. "Hey, Winchester." Catty and Young John looked toward him. Mr. D shook Young John's hand. "Son of a bitch. How you doing, Corporal?"

"Hey, Mr. D.," Young John told him.

Catty looked at Young John in shock, keeping her voice down. "Dad?"

From 4.03 "In the Beginning", in the Campbell House, Catty and Samuel/Azazel sat at the table.

Catty was unaware that it was Azazel she was talking to. "This is gonna sound a little crazy. Mary is my mother."

"Excuse me?" Samuel/Azazel asked.

"And I am your granddaughter," Catty told him. "My parents are Mary and John Winchester."

Samuel/Azazel shook his head. "I don't have to listen to this."

"Mary gets killed by a Yellow-Eyed Demon," Catty told him.

Samuel/Azazel let his eyes turn yellow, raising a hand, using magic to push Catty's chair against the wall, pinning Catty to the wall. He leaned forward against the chair, closer to Catty.

"You don't want those people's souls," Catty realized.

"No," Samuel/Azazel answered. "I just want their children."

"Why any of them?" Catty asked. 

"You know what I'm gonna do to your brother?" Samuel/Azazel asked. "I'm gonna lure him into your nursery, and I'm gonna bleed into his mouth."

From 2.21 "All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 1", in Sam's Dream, in Baby Catty's nursery, Past-Azazel slit his own wrist with his nail, putting his wrist to Young Sam's lips, making him drink.

From 4.01 "Lazarus Rising", in the Impala, Dean looked at Sam. "So, you been using your, uh, freaky ESP stuff?"

From 4.01 "Lazarus Rising", in the diner, Sam raised his hand toward the Demon waitress, closing his eyes in concentration. The Demon waitress breathed heavily, starting to vomit black smoke in her hand. The Demon was exorcised from her body. The waitress fell to the floor. The Demon's smoke was pulled down to Hell. Sam opened his eyes.

Sam: (voice over from 4.01 Lazarus Rising) "No."

Dean: (voice over from 4.01 Lazarus Rising) "Sure about that?"

Sam: (voice over from 4.01 Lazarus Rising) "Look, you didn't want me to go down that road, so I didn't go down that road."

From 4.01 "Lazarus Rising", in the Impala, Dean looked at Sam. "Well, let's keep it that way."

Catty looked between them. "Okay, what is going on with you two? I mean, sure, you guys butted heads before everything, but you weren't like this."
