"Hey, hey, shhh. It's okay now, nifty. It's okay, you're okay. We're safe. I promise." You reassured her, as she gently nodded to what you said
"Can I sleep with you tonight? And will you be here when I wake up?" She asked tearfully
"Yes. I'll be right here. Don't worry. What would you say if I sang you a little song to help you sleep? Would that be alright?" You asked, trying to comfort her
"It might." She insisted
