"So what are sniggles?" Holden asked. "Are they birds, or monsters?"

"What did we just watch, and why was it so stupid?" Dylan added.

"So did anyone else find that show like... weirdly dark?" Lauren asked as they exited the theatre half an hour later.

"I don't know, I fell asleep," Rosenthal responded, rubbing his eyes.

"Okay yes!" Jaime exclaimed. "Like super dark during that one slow song, although I couldn't quite hear because certain idiots were singing at the top of their lungs the entire fucking time."

"Holden, why the fuck did you join in with them?" Joey asked.

Holden shrugged. "The music just spoke to me, what can I say." He stood up straight, taking in a deep breath. "BLINK ONCE BLINK T—"

"No." Dylan cut across. "Absolutely not. Hearing it once was enough."

"BLINK ONCE, BLINK TWICE!" Darren and Joe sang, wrapping their arms around each other and forming a kick line. "That was the best show ever!" Joe yelled, giggling.

"Okay, now the liquor has hit them," Holden said as they approached the mirror maze.

"We can officially start worrying," Dylan groaned.

"Way ahead of you," Lauren stated as they entered the mirror maze one at a time. "Wait, fuck, why are we doing this? I hate these things."

"Aw Meredith and I love these!" Holden said as they started walking through. "There's one funhouse mirror at the theatre that turns us into the mighty Needle and Mash-head!"

"What the fuck are you saying?" Joey asked, before walking directly into a mirror.

Darren and Joe ruptured into laughter as Joey bounced back from the mirror, rubbing his nose. "Jesus fucking Christ."

"I know I'm a Jew, but I'm pretty sure that that wasn't his middle name," Joe commented as they continued to weave through the mirrors, running in front of the group.

"Hey, stay together!" Jaime yelled, but the two seniors continued their trek ahead.

"Fuck Joey, you're bleeding," Lauren said, gently cupping his face. "Your nose is actually bleeding."

"It is?" Joey asked in alarm, bringing a hand to his nose. "Does it look bad?" He asked stupidly.

Lauren giggled, rolling her eyes. "No Jojo, it looks like some sick fuck beat you up for their own entertainment."

"Why would someone want to watch us get hurt?" Rosenthal asked.

"To entertain them?" Joey guessed.

"Those sick bastards!" Holden yelled in horror as they continued their journey forward, now in search of Joe and Darren.

At one point Joey, Rosenthal, and Lauren made a wrong turn, finding themselves separated from Holden, Jaime, and Dylan by a mirror.

"What the fuck, I—how?" Lauren exclaimed, pushing against the mirror. "I can fucking see them, but I can't get to them?"

"We just gotta keep moving, we'll find them at some point," Joey reassured her, grabbing her shoulders and driving her forward.

"Do you think we'll ever see Joe and Darren ag—AHH!"

"Gotcha!" Joe exclaimed happily, having just jumped in from out of nowhere. "Miss me?"

"Asshole," Rosenthal laughed, pushing Joe's shoulder playfully; Joey and Lauren on the other hand were not amused.
