Out There (In The Deep)

Elusive dream
Shifting light
You're out there
in the night

Somewhere made
to hold only you
I'm diving
out of my mind

I may be close
as you feel so near
cruelest of tricks
just impatient fear

Waves cresting high
in an ocean alone
on the sands
of the gone before

I won't give up
I can't slow down
I don't stop piercing
I won't just drown

You wait for me
on your isle of love
with the deep cold quiet
You've risen above

Winds as they change
Steering all wrong
I follow my heart
as it follows your song

One day soon
Though it could be years
The sea below moon
as hope above tears
