You and Choso approach the entrance of the club, hand-in-hand, and almost expecting there to be an unsuspecting sign tacked to the doorway. To your relief, the door stands empty. You shoot Gojo a text message that the two of you are walking in.Upon entering, you notice that the club is a lot less busy than usual. There's clear and open spaces on the dance floor, and you can nearly see through the bustling people to the other side of the room where couches line the perimeter of the dance floor.
Right away, you catch sight of your white-haired friend with his glasses perched on his head, sitting lonely on the outer most black couch. You tug Choso along, gesturing towards Gojo and weaving your way through the people.
Gojo catches sight of you, with wide eyes and the same scheming smile, he waves you over.
"Hi!" You shout over the music, almost too enthusiastically that Choso's eyebrows raise. Truthfully, you're simply excited to be able to spend time with both your friend and your boyfriend without the two clawing for each other's necks.
Gojo extends an arm out to you, pulling you in for a little side hug while Choso slides his hands into his pockets, standing behind you and observing Gojo with the eyes of a hawk. Just as you pull away from the hug, you turn your head towards Choso, giving him a gleaming smile and he reflects a handsome, closed-lip smile back at you.
Without you noticing, Gojo swiftly looks you up and down, eyeing the way your outfit hugs your curves. Though you didn't catch him, your raven-haired boyfriend caught every single second as if it passed in slow motion.
"Tch." Choso mutters, glaring through squinted eyes at Gojo. Choso takes your hand and guides you toward an empty spot on the couch, plopping down next to you as soon as you settle in.
"So where's your date?" You ask, raising your voice slightly over the music as you try and glance around the club in search for her.
"She's just getting us drinks." Gojo answers, taking his seat on the other side of the couch, across the two of you. "You should see her! She's beautiful!" Gojo hollers with a prideful smile as he crosses one leg over the other.
"Clearly not beautiful enough since you can't seem to take your eyes off my girl." Choso retorts, glancing at you through the corner of his eye and then looking at Gojo. You huff with an awkward smile, frantically glancing between your friend and your boyfriend. The growing tension making your nerves spike.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Gojo lies, leaning forward and cupping his hand around his ear with a smirk. "The music is just a bit too loud, I couldn't hear you."
"Hmm. Right." Choso hums, sliding his hand into his pocket and retrieving a cigarette from the pack.
Just when you thought the tension could not possibly get any worse, a cheery and familiar sounding voice speaks over the music, nearing the area you are all sitting in; must be Gojo's supposed date.
The two of you look over your shoulder to see the same damn woman with long blonde hair and enchanting dark pink eyes.
Oh you've gotta be fucking kidding me.
Your posture tightens as you glance at Choso, whose jaw is clenched and eyes are sharp. Yuki stops in her tracks as she realizes that Gojo's "friends" are the two of you, stumbling over her feet and nearly spilling one of the drinks. Gojo jumps up to help her, taking one of the drinks from her hands and then guiding her towards an empty place on the couch right next to him.
Yuki's cheeks grow red as an uncomfortable silence falls between the four of you- each one of you boiling over with different thoughts running through your minds.
