"All that she wants is another baby, she's gone tomorrow, but all that she wants is another baby, yeah," Juniper sang as she strutted in her silver Mary Janes down the hall back to her room.
Tinsley was staying next door at the same hotel, which was a real relief. Juniper didn't know what she'd do with her friend in London with her.
She'd been always the clueless, hopeless one in her own mind. Even now that she finally had the beginnings of a decent film career and some decent storylines on 90210, Juniper felt like a total outsider in Hollywood.
Shannen, Tinsley, Drew, Christina, and almost everyone else she met had careers when they were in elementary school, if not earlier. Meanwhile, all Juniper missed out on was the last two years of high school, which she spent in on-set tutoring or at Valley Professional.
It seemed like everyone she met was more savvy then her. Maybe it was being a good old Southern girl for too long. Even her Southern sister, Shannen, had been doing guest spots and walk-ons when she was nine, and never accidentally slipped in a Tennessee accent like Juniper did off-set.
Maybe it was being too much of a romantic that made her so dumb. Everyone else she knew had a cynical attitude about guys, even the ones they deigned to date. Meanwhile, Juniper's heart would stop at a smile.
