Ates was quite exhausted. He just wanted to lay down, but there was a wedding proposal? What was going on, and why was his brother now so keen to get married all of a sudden ? He was so worn out that he could barely stand up. This family needed to learn a thing or two about timing, he thought. First, they threw him a party while he was still jet lagged, and now, without giving him some time to settle down and collect his thoughts, he had to be his brother's best man. He shook his head in disbelief.
The whole thing seemed rushed,Yaman's behavior seemed weird, but he was way  too exhausted to investigate.
They were all seated in the living room after the proposal, and he gazed at the newly engaged couple. They appeared joyful, but there was something more to it, he couldn't quite place his hands on.

"Yaman ,please think about this ?" Said his mother, who had previously opposed the couple's engagement, "Don't you think that we should talk about this, it's way too soon," she added. "Anne ,this is my decision I expect you to respect it, Aleyna and I love each and we're going to get married whether you like it or not" Yaman remarked, taking Aleyna's hand, and they both went away.
Ates was growing tired of this debacle and began to wonder if coming back was a smart idea, so he got up to leave the room as well. He needed a break from this whole situation .

Ates made it into his bedroom. "Finally," he said quietly to himself, taking a deep breath. He was finally alone. Just as he was ready to fall asleep, his phone rang, and he snarled in frustration, What is it now? Why would the family driver call him at this time? What was so important that he couldn't simply wait until tomorrow? He snarled again when he answered the phone. "Ates bey!!" "What is it, Murat?" he said. "You need to come down here, sir; there is a fire going out of the guesthouse, and I think there is someone inside." Murat exclaimed in panic. Great, this night couldn't get any worse. "Tamam Murat, calm down; I'll be right there." He said this while he was getting out of bed.

When Ates finally got to the guest house, He entered without hesitation, asking, "Is anyone there?" He yelled, trying not to breathe the inebriated air. Ates went farther into the house, where he found a body lying on the floor. As he bent down to check , he recognized who it was: "Feraye." She was unconscious, so he picked her up without hesitation and made his way to the door, which was blazing with flames.

"Ates bey, is she alive? Is anyone else inside? Murat was anxious while assisting him in carrying Feraye to the car. He instructed him not to tell anyone, especially his grandfather, about the incident. "Nobody saw this girl," Ates cries to the crowd of curious passersby gathered outside the house's entrance. "If you tell Omer Gulsoy, he added, if you do, I swear I will find you and destroy your life."
"As you wish, Ates Bey, the firefighters are on their way."
"Open the door, Murat," he urged as they approached his car, and he delicately placed her in the backseat. And took off to the hospital.

Ates remained in the waiting room until sunrise, exhausted and dozing off on the chair.
"Sir, your wife woke up; you can go see her now," a nurse informed him.
They assumed Feraye was his wife; why did that make him happy? He went straight to her room, and once he entered, he found her sitting on the edges of the bed, head on the floor. "Good morning, Feraye," he blurted out. "How're you feeling?"
Ates?" She replied, ignoring his preceding questions. "What are you doing here?" "Well, there was a fire in the guesthouse last night. You fell unconscious, and I brought you here." "Do you remember anything?"

She simply glanced at him and shook her head negatively. "Good morning," said the doctor who had just entered the room. "Miss Feraye, I have your results." "Everything is fine, Doctor?" Ates inquired

"Yes," he said, "everything is fine." Your wife and the baby are both doing wonderful . We just need to do a few more tests before we let her go."
Thank you, Doctor," he replied kindly.

The door closed, and all was quiet. He glared at her, and she appeared pale.
"Are you okay ?"  Was all he could manage to say asking before she burst into tears.

He wanted to comfort her and tell her that everything would be fine, but he stopped himself and decided to leave her alone for a bit, figuring she needed some time to regain her composure...
