Ates stood by the window of the conference room, watching the streetlights blink on across the cityscape as evening fell. The glass gleamed with reflections of the skyline, casting soft patterns over the polished table. When Gunes had called him to join this meeting, she hadn't needed to explain the stakes—he knew them too well.

The investors were already seated, their faces an unreadable mix of interest and skepticism. They were three: two men and one woman, all immaculately dressed, each of their gazes calculated, like they were dissecting the room before anyone had even spoken.

Ates took a steadying breath, glanced at Gunes, and then began, his voice calm and unwavering.

"Thank you for meeting with us," he said, leaning forward just enough to signal confidence without arrogance. "We understand that investment is a commitment, and we don't take that lightly. What we're building here isn't just a company. It's a legacy."

The investors exchanged glances. Gunes sensed the weight of their gazes and knew she had to make this real for them—not just numbers on a screen or forecasts on a chart. She leaned in, her tone warm but tinged with urgency.

"We're asking you to invest in more than just financials," she said, meeting each investor's eye.

"We're asking you to invest in a vision. One that Ates and I have lived, breathed, and sacrificed for. With your support, we can amplify this vision, take it to new markets, to new heights."

The woman across the table, sharply dressed with piercing blue eyes, tilted her head, studying Gunes.

"It's a compelling pitch," she said, her voice smooth but edged with doubt. "But I'm going to be blunt: there are dozens of companies who want the same thing, who are just as passionate. Why you?"

Ates leaned back, his face softening into a wry smile. It was a question he'd anticipated, and he'd been waiting for it.

"We're different because we don't just respond to the market—we define it. We anticipate changes, adapt faster, and stay ahead of trends. Innovation is embedded in our strategy," he said, nodding to Gunes, his partner in vision and strategy.

Gunes gave a quick nod, reinforcing his words. "And with your investment, we'll be positioned to accelerate even faster. We're talking new patents, expanded research, and access to untapped markets. We've laid out the roadmap, and if you'd like, we can walk you through it in detail."

The investors seemed to soften, intrigued but still cautious. One of the men, a veteran investor with silver-streaked hair, tapped a pen thoughtfully against his notepad.

"So, let's talk scalability," he said, glancing at both of them. "You have a solid foundation, yes. But can you grow? We need assurance that we're not just fueling a local success but something with global reach."

Ates met his gaze, unwavering. "Scalability is at the heart of our model. We're not content with just being a presence here—we're building for a footprint that spans continents. Our infrastructure is designed for growth, and we're already in talks with international partners to facilitate that expansion."

A hint of a smile tugged at the corner of the man's mouth as he nodded, but the woman wasn't quite done. She leaned forward, her gaze fixed on Gunes.

"And what about the team?" she asked. "How do we know your team can handle that scale, that pressure?"

Gunes didn't hesitate, her voice calm but resolute. "Our team is handpicked, built for resilience and adaptability. They're people who don't just work for a paycheck but who believe in what we're building here. We've fostered a culture that's as passionate as we are. They're not just employees—they're partners in our mission."
