Charlie looked like she grew taller since I last saw her, but not by much. She looked like she was skinnier again, I order her food each month to make sure she eats but there are other people in this hotel so I better make sure the food order is much bigger than it used to be. "Charlie, can you introduce me to everyone here?" I suggested and she beamed in delight. "Okay so we have Angel Dust, he is our first guest here." Charlie said as she dragged a pink and white demon with mixed-match eyes, he wore a pink striped jacket and short shorts with heeled boots up to where his thigh is. "Sup toots, how come we never heard of ya?" He asked and I looked at the demon. "I simply was away for a while, Charlie had no way of asking if I was alive or not." I vaguely said and he didn't press it. "Next we have Alastor, one of the Hotel's Managers like me and Vaggie." Charlie told me and I was stunned to see Alastor. "Well I'll be dammed again, it is you Alastor. Where've you been?" I commented and Alastor held his signature smile.

"Ah Miss Dalia, pleasure to see you again. I simply have been taking a sabbatical, nothing to worry about." He said casually and I rolled my eyes, nobody decides to go on a sabbatical for seven years out of nowhere. "I will find out Alastor, I have my ways." I warned the deer demon who didn't respond, smart demon. "You know Alastor, Dali?" Charlie asked me and I smiled at her. "Oh, of course, I see him each month at the Overlord meetings your father insists I sit in. He always made things somewhat interesting each time he was there." I explained and Alastor agreed.

"Miss Dalia is the only one who I call that, after all, she is a powerful being." He said and I rolled my eyes and began looking around. "Now, if Alastor's here, where's my favorite bartender?" I asked and Charlie pointed towards the bar and I saw my favorite former Overlord. "Husky!" I shouted and he turned and almost had a genuine smile. "Holy fuck, I was wondering when I was gonna see my favorite patron again." He said and we walked towards one another and shook hands, not like we were making a deal, a handshake between old pals. "I'm guessing Alastor 'offered' your help to the hotel?" I asked and he nodded, of course, Alastor would do that.

Charlie smiled since she knew I didn't trust many demons and seeing me have beings I talk to was a good thing in her eyes. "Then we have Nifty, she's our housecleaner." Charlie said and I saw the Cyclops demon and waved, she began asking twenty questions and I wanted to cry, remembering when Charlie did that when she was younger. "That's everyone?" I asked her and she nodded. "Yep, we're still working on fine-tuning everything before officially opening to the public. That's why I think you being our Head of Security would be great, you know how the demons are and what would be best to protect the hotel." Charlie explained her logic and I nodded, knowing that she was right about that. "May we discuss this in private first Charlie? Preferably not around everyone." I asked her and she understood the hint and we left the main room.

We walked to the top of the hotel and into Charlie's office, her office was pretty basic with a desk, computer, a few chairs and a couch, bookshelves, and a stack of papers on the side of the desk. There were pictures around the room and I saw many featured her and me, some were with her dad and her but none with her mom. "You know that there will be days I won't be in the hotel, I'm not sure it would be wise for me to be the Head of Security." I reminded her and she sighed but had this tight smile, like father-like daughter. "I know, but we can work around those days. Please, Dali, I want you to be a part of this, to show both Heaven and Sinners that redemption is possible." She said and I looked at her and I walked over to the girl I thought of as a daughter. "My dear, are you sure about this?" I asked her seriously, she saw how serious I was asking her and she nodded brightly.

I sighed and hugged her, cradling her head and gently brushing my long black nails through her scalp. "I will help you, but I can't refuse my other duties towards your father." I told her and she nodded and slightly teared up. "T-Thank you, Dali, at least someone I know believed in me." She said and I held her close to me as she cried, I was going to tell Lucifer about this for sure. "Now, about my room?" I asked her and she laughed and I summoned a handkerchief and wiped her tears. "There's my starshine." I said and after that, we walked out of the office and she took me to a room about three rooms down from the office itself. "This is your room, you're on the same floor as me so you can make sure that I'm safe." She explained and I thanked her and she walked out of the area, heading back to her office. I walked into the room and saw it was slightly dusty, but it reminded me of my room back at the Manor.

I summoned a duster and began working on clearing out the dust, making the space my own. Once the dust was cleared, I began putting my clothes away. I didn't realize that my suitcase was brought to the room, I think Nifty brought it up but I don't want to ask at all. Nifty reminds me of some Exorcists too much. When the clothes were put away, I summoned Amadaeous and placed it on the wall above the headboard. I sighed and looked around, it felt like home away from home so I was content for now. "I wonder if Husk would mind if I ask him to make my favorite drink?" I wondered and with that resolved, I walked out of the room, ready to see the others that we call patrons.

Authors opinion: Hi everyone and here is this chapter. I wanted to have a mini introduction to Adalia-Rose to the other members of the hotel. I even made a small connection between Husk and our main heroine, and even Alastor had met her. I will be bringing in some more interesting plots to this and so until the next time bye
