𝓣he group of friends continued playing, having a couple of shots and sharing jokes and laughter with each other.
The night fell faster than they were aware of, and Topper was the first to leave,—— to organize everything and wait for the guests of the pool party he was going to throw.

"I'll see you guys at my house." He says goodbye to everyone, and they say goodbye to him, then the rest of the boys also agreed to go home to change and look more presentable at night.

Thus, only Sarah, her brother, and Arabella were left at the Cameron residence,—— and both girls took advantage of the time they had to get ready and dressed, before their friends picked them up.

"What looks better, B?" The blonde asks, holding two tops in both hands; one purple and one white, her friend points out the second option, which combined better with the converse and the bikini she was wearing,

The Cameron girl entered her bathroom, to put on the clothes that Bella had suggested, while she finished putting her hair up in a half ponytail, and sprayed her body with her favourite perfume.

And after, the brunette told her friend that she was going down to get a glass of water,— to hydrate herself a little before leaving.
She went down the stairs but when she heard a loud argument, she became more cautious with her steps,— avoiding making any noise as she approached the door to see who it was.

"I'll tell you something. Remember the pogue I just fired? He was much more trustworthy than you." She catches a glimpse of Ward sitting with a shot glass in his hand saying to his son, "Really?" The boy answers,
"Yes, really!— You get it together Rafe, or you can go live on the cut." He threatens his son in a serious way, but only receives an incredulous laugh in response.

"Does this seem funny to you? You can go live in the damn cut, Rafe! As far as I'm concerned," Ward says again, "Now go. "I'm sick of seeing you"

Arabella felt how the boy got up from his seat, and approached the door she was hiding behind, but instead of leaving he responded to his father again, "Sarah is not working." He says, the girl rolled her eyes when she heard how he compared himself with his sister, Ward made it clear that he had nothing to do with it, and that he had to take charge.

"I'll take care of those generators," the blonde answers in a stressed manner, "I'll believe it when I see it." It was the last thing Cameron said to his son, before he entered the house again.

As soon as he did, Rafe felt the girl's presence and turned to look at her, "What the fuck Arabella?" He says with his eyebrows furrowed, waiting for a response from the girl,—— but she didn't know what to say, she felt somewhat embarrassed for having been caught,
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to intrude." She swallowed, avoiding looking him in the eyes.

The Cameron boy did not respond with words, but instead huffed and left the house on his motorcycle, leaving Bella alone, who quickly went through the kitchen to pour herself a glass of water, and then went back up to her friend's room.

Less than an hour later, both teens were almost ready to go "S, the boys are already downstairs!" The brunette says,— after reading Kelce's message that told her that they had already arrived.

Her friend quickly placed a couple of pillows under her sheets, giving the illusion that there was someone sleeping in her bed.
