A basic outfit for today but I chucked on a black fitted T shirt and a pair of blue jeans. The sun is out whilst I drive myself to school and curse at every mother fucker that steals a parking bay whenever I try to drive into one.
"Asshole!", I yell out from the window at one of the guys who sniggers at his act. After finding a spot that felt like forever, I walk towards the lockers and spot my favorite person waiting for me.
"Took you long enough!", Valentina sags. I roll my eyes and open my locker. "I had a late night so I overslept a bit", I say whilst feeling the light soreness between my legs from last nights event. "Doing what?", She says and raises her brows in judgement. "Not like that! You know my mom doesn't even let me out of the house", I respond.
Valentina is a wild girl who likes to party but is a master in computer science. I admire her ability of balancing her life and also having fun. "Well Lucas says he's free tomorrow if you want to hang out?", She asks. "I can't I have work. Chantel told me theres an important guest coming tomorrow. But you can come over right?", I ask hoping to have her company.
"Sure. I'm not doing anything else", She says. "Good cause I need you to paint my nails", I respond.
Valentina nods before a smile grows on her face as she spots someone approach me from behind. I can sense Lucas behind me with the smell of his boyish perfume. I smile and turn back to look at him. "Hey you", I say whilst poking his chest,
Lucas is fair and shows a great mix of his ethnicity being half American and half Japanese. A lot of girls are after him in school and I don't blame them. He's a blonde with beautiful features and brown eyes. He's also one of the soccer players at school.
Lucas doesn't hesitate as he wraps his arms around my waist for a hug which I return. "It's like I haven't seen you in forever", he mutters into my shoulder. I laugh and shove him. "Stop with that you saw me two days ago before your party", I reply. "She's working tomorrow so we're gunna give the hang out a miss", Valentina interrupts and I send Lucas a sad pout.
"Maybe next time?", I say and Lucas smiles. "It better be soon", He says and I nod. The bell rings and our feet are quick to part ways as we make our way to class.
The day has dragged but it gives me some time to enjoy lunch. This is the only chance I have to get something to eat without moms judgement. Me and Valentina are sat on the field as I dig into the chicken fajita burrito that she made.
"Mmm. This is so good", I say and she shoves a bag of Cheetos in front of me. The offer is tempting but I know I won't be able to help myself with just a few. "No I can't", I say. "Stop! You need to ignore your mom. Food is life", She replies.
