I never thought about date night up until Adam mentioned it late last night. He told me to be ready by midday today and my nerves have been spiraling since then. I managed to put together an outfit with the limited clothing I have with me, making sure it's okay for today's occasion.

It's all I could throw together but I managed to make myself presentable

It's all I could throw together but I managed to make myself presentable. Adam is taking me to dinner to meet everyone in his gang. A part of me feels nervous whilst the other makes me feel confident in myself knowing i'll be labelled as his girl.

I have never met someone as confident as Adam. He holds so much authority which makes me endure the safety i've been longing for my entire life. He makes me feel safe and I will always be grateful for the protection he provides for me, even when he's not safe himself.

I swipe on my lip gloss to complete my makeup before grabbing my bag and walking out towards the balcony through this beautiful apartment he has here. It's then that I notice Adam in his black formal shirt tucked well into his slacks. The back of his hair is faded perfectly to reflect on his fresh haircut.

I noticed that his hair is always cut whenever he's taking me out. It's almost as if he always makes the effort to look presentable for me and I can't help the flutters of butterflies roaming around in my stomach at the thought of him doing that for me.

He's perfect.

I pause in my spot the second he turns around and copies my action. His stilled body allows his eyes to scan up mine with his usual smirk curling at the corner of his lips. "Fuck", he rasps out and I bite my lower lip out of nervousness.

My hips sway the second I make my way towards him, building the courage to increase my confidence around him. "You like what you see?", I say before moving my hair to one side.

"I thank god that i'm not a blind man. I'd be missing all of this sweetness otherwise", He says before his arm arches my back to collide my body with his.
