Trust is known as an assured reliance upon someone you're close to. I trust Adam with my life every time we travel, although I always end up falling asleep on route. I knew we were back home as I felt Adam carry me from the helicopter and into the car as we make our way back to the apartment.
Even though my eyes are still droopy, I can still sense his presence with that strong cologne filling my nose and his loving silence running through my veins as he drives. Having him close to me grants me ease and safety.
With my eyes shut, I embrace the love that I felt today. My birthday couldn't have gone any better and it's nice knowing that I can finally say that without any guilt of overeating or acting upon something that still disgusts me whenever i'm reminded of the memory.
Life works itself in beautiful ways and I can't comprehend this enough from my experiences. Everything turned out the way that I wanted it to and holding onto faith did not disappoint me.
I feel the car slow down and I inhale a sharp breathe with my eyes still shut. I feel Adam's large hand rub against my temple as he swipes away a strand of my hair.
"Larisa", Adam whispers in a soft but deep tone. My eyes slowly open and I stare at the man that I can never get tired of seeing. I send him a tired smile and slowly lift myself to sit up. "Are we home?", I ask.
"Yeah baby. We're home", He says and that's when I drag my tired body out of the car and struggle to find my balance as the fatigue still lingers inside of me. "I'm still so tired", I say to Adam across the roof of his car.
Adam doesn't say anything but stare at me with a brow risen. It's then that I crease my brows and question myself if theres something on my face. My fingers swipe across my cheek before I turn to make my way into the apartment in order to see what might be wrong.
That's when I suddenly halt in my spot and take a look around my surroundings.
This isn't the apartment.
