I am never drinking again.
I woke up with my head pounding as I opened my eyes and stretched out my arms. I accidentally hit Charles with my arm since I forgot he was sleeping beside me. I then looked down and saw that I was naked, and so was he. I covered myself up as quickly as I could and shook Charles awake.
Y/n- Charles, wake up, NOW.
Charles- Stop shouting; my head is hurting.
Y/n- So is mine, but we have to talk about something.
Charles- What do we have to talk about this early in the morning?
Y/n- Charles, look down under the covers.
He rolled his eyes at me and pulled up his covers. He then placed the covers back onto himself and looked at me blankly.
Charles- What happened last night?
Y/n- You think I remember? I mean, let's state the obvious: we are both naked, and I remember that I was fully clothed, but I don't remember what happened for half of the night, so don't take my word for it.
Charles- Did we use protection? Would you like me to check?
He got out of bed, and I just started; I couldn't look away. He then looked me straight in the eye as he grabbed his underwear from the floor and put it on. He then looked around the room and the bathroom for a while to check if there was a condom anywhere, but...there wasn't, so if we did have sex, well, it was unprotected. While he was searching the room, I put on my underwear and then put on an oversized shit I had packed in my bag. I cleaned the room a bit before Charles sat on the bed. I sat down next to him, and we sat silently for a while.
Y/n- So...
Charles- So... were married.
Y/n- Yup.
Charles: Look, we have a lot to talk about, so how about we get ready, have some breakfast, and talk?
Y/n- Yeah, let's do that.
He let me shower first, so I took a long shower. Then I did my after-shower routine, got dressed, did my hair and makeup, and walked out of the bathroom to let Charles get ready so we could leave.
After we were both done, we picked up everything we had that we had brought with us and headed downstairs into Charles's car. The drive to the restaurant was very quiet. We didn't speak; we just sat in comfortable silence. We arrived at the restaurant, got out of the car, and walked into the restaurant. We sat down at a table, ordered some food, and then just sat there until someone decided to break the silence.
Charles—OK, so first of all, let's talk about something positive. Did you enjoy the wedding? I thought it went well, and I had fun.
Y/N—Yeah, it was really nice. I had fun, and your mum looked really happy. Did she have fun?
Charles- Yeah, she did; I liked seeing her happy.
Y/N—Yeah, me too. Now, shall we talk about some things that are not nice? I can start since I have a few questions. Number 1: Have you talked to that girl you got pregnant with? When can you get a DNA test? Number 2: If it is your baby, what are you going to do?
Charles—Well, I told her to go and get a DNA test at her next appointment, and she agreed that if it is mine, I will support her, but I won't get with her.
Y/N—OK, just let me know the results of the DNA test. Now, since I am moving here in a month, I went to look at some places for my shop. I found one that is really nice and close to the house, so I decided to put my offer in, and I got it, so I have my new store.
Charles- Wow, that's great. Do you know if it will be done before the race season starts?
Y/n- I am not sure, but I will attend all the races, don't worry.
Charles- OK, good.
Our food arrived, and we enjoyed our breakfast. After we were done, he paid for us and then took me to the villa we were staying at to spend some time with my family for a while before we had to all go to a post-wedding lunch.
After spending the whole afternoon with our families, I went to the villa and picked up all of my stuff; then we drove to our house. We arrived, and I started unpacking some of my stuff since I was moving in in a couple of weeks, so I just wanted to leave something there already. Since it was already 18.30, I decided to take a nice long shower, get changed into some comfy PJs, and sat down on the sofa with my laptop on my lap and started buying some new things for my new store and the house since I wanted to make it feel more like me as well. I made sure Charles liked the stuff I was buying, and thankfully, he did, so I placed my order, and then I decided to make us some dinner. I had to get used to where all the stuff was, but I got the hang of it. After dinner, we decide to watch a movie going to sleep.
The movie ended at around 22.00, and since we were both tired, we decided to head upstairs and go to sleep. I placed some of my stuff on my side of the bed, got under the covers, and laid down. Charles laid down on his side, and we tried to sleep away from each other as much as we could. Thinking of him as my husband was still weird, but I had to get used to it. I closed my eyes, tried clearing my mind, and drifted off to sleep.
