A few weeks later.
A few weeks had passed, and so much had happened. I had finally gotten into my second trimester and felt much better than I did in my first. We had gone to a couple of races, and Charles hadn't won any yet, but he had been on the podium most of the time. I was now 18 weeks pregnant, and this week, it was Monaco Grand Prix weekend, so we had many things planned. Since both of our families were going to be at this weekend's grand prix, we decided to do our gender review this weekend. Kika and Pierre were planning everything, so Charles and I didn't know anything. I was also showing at this point, and I was tired of hiding my pregnancy, so we also decided to do the pregnancy reveal this weekend.
It was a Wednesday morning, and I had just gotten up from an OK night's sleep. Charles had gotten up way before me and went to the gym to get a workout before we headed out for the day. I entered my closet and picked out an outfit for the gender reveal. My only tip was to wear a swimsuit and something summery, so I picked out an outfit and walked out of my closet and into my bathroom. I took a shower, did my after-shower routine, walked back into my closet, did my hair and makeup, dressed, and walked downstairs.
