A few years later.
2030 was a really good year for our family. The kids turned six and were having the best time of their lives traveling with their dad and me around the world, watching their dad thrive in his career. Charles had the best year ever and only had the last weekend to win until he got his fourth title as world champion. Adding to our achievement, I also opened up a new store in Saint Tropez, and I got pregnant again with a baby boy this time. Since it was the last race of the year and I wasn't too pregnant to travel, we all went to watch Charles hopefully win his last race as a family.
Charles had left to get to the track a few hours ago, and I was still with the kids, trying to get them ready and trying to get myself ready. After I got them dressed and ready, I walked into the bathroom, got dressed, did my hair and makeup, got my stuff, told the kids to get their stuff, and walked downstair to get into the car that was going to take us to the track.
We arrived at the track, and as we got close to the Ferrari motorhome, the kids started running towards it and looking for their dad. I walked slowly because I couldn't run for my life. I walked inside and saw the kids hugging their dad. I walked up to them and kissed Charles quickly, and then I sat down next to him.
Charles- How are you, my loves? Are you excited to watch Dad win?
Archie- Yes, I am so excited. I hope I win when I get into f1.
Charles- You will do amazing, Archie. How about you, Ellie? Are you excited?
Eloise—Yes, I am super excited, but I need to take care of Mum and baby brother just in case she needs me.
Charles- Aww, you are such a sweet girl; I am happy that you want to take care of your mother. How are you, my love? How's the little man?
Y/N—I am okay, and baby boy is okay. I am just super excited to see you race. You will do amazing, my love.
Charles—Thank you, my love. Well, I have to get going on an interview, but I will see you soon.
Charles left, and the kids and I went and got some food, talked with their aunt for a while, and just chilled for a while until we had to go to the Ferrari watching deck to watch the race. The kids wanted to walk around for a while, so we did that. Then, 30 minutes before the race started, we walked to the viewing deck, put on our headphones, and sat down. I was nervous, scared, and excited about this race.
The race was about to start, and the kids were super excited; I was scared, but I knew that Charles would do the best he could. The lights went off one by one, then they went off, and the race started. Charles had a really good start, and he kept his pole position. I was so excited I had butterflies in my belly.
The race was about to end, and Charles was about to cross the finish line as a 4-time world champion. The crowds were roaring, the commentators were going wild, then he crossed the finish line, and fireworks started going off, and the crowds went wild, and the Ferrari garage went wild. The kids and I started screaming, and I started crying. We walked over to the podium area. Charles parked his car, got out, stood in his car, and cheered. He then walked over to the team, and they all hugged him and cheered for him. He then took off his helmet, walked up to the kids and me, kissed me, and hugged the kids. He then walked over to the pre-podium room, and we waited for them to go to the podium. A few minutes later, they started going on one by one, then finally, Charles came out, and the fireworks came out again.
When I saw Charles up there, I just started thinking about all the things we have been through the last six years, from being arranged to get married to the surprise pregnancy of Katia and the adoption of Archie to me getting pregnant and just falling in love with him and growing our little family. We had everything we wanted, and I was just so happy and in love with the life I was living.
After Charles's podium, he came down and walked over to us, and we just gave him so much love and all the admiration he deserved. We spent the night celebrating him and just admiring his win. We went out to dinner with our families, and then after we got back to the hotel and put the kids to sleep, I changed into my pajamas, and Charles and I laid down in bed together and cuddled up to him. I looked up at him and gave him a quick kiss; then I just looked at him.
Y/n- I am so proud of you, my love; I knew you could do it.
Charles—Well, I had a family to support me, and I knew I could do it, so I did. Now, I can just focus the rest of the year on planning stuff for our baby and spending time with my perfect family. I love you, my love.
Y/n- I love you too, my love.
I then kissed him, rested my head on his chest, and drifted off to sleep in the arms of my one true love.
