The TARDIS zooms through the vortex, with Liv on board alone. "What have you done Doctor?..." She asks, but the only answer she gets is a hologram appearing "I've activated emergency program one, Liv, now listen to me.. I'm in danger, and I mean fatal, so I'm sending you back home" "I won't let you teef" "and I bet you're fussing and moaning now, typical! But listen, emergency program one means the TARDIS will cease to function when it lands, just let it stand on a street corner and collect dust, the world will move on and so should you.." "But-" "and if you can do one thing for me Liv, just one thing.." The hologram turns to look at her "have a good life... Do that for me Liv, draw like your life depends on it, take on every mission you get from UNIT, above all... Just make me proud, ok?" The hologram vanishes and she fights with the controls "how do you fly?!" Tears streaming down her face but.. She ultimately steps out, seeing her apartment complex, seeing the trees and the flowers and the dogs.. She's back home..
I'm still on the rooftop, watching the carnage "oh what do I do?.." I get out my phone and call Kate "line busy, please try again later" is all I get. I just sigh and lay out my plan "ok, UNIT tower is over.. there, can bus it.. No buses will be down, everything will be.. Ugh.."
Liv looks at her surroundings and notices the words 'bad wolf' spray painted on a wall "oh my god it's a message.. Two words connecting me to the Doctor, Torchwood tower now says Bad Wolf in it.. Bad Wolf here.. Bad Wolf there.." She keeps looking around at her home but doesn't accept it "no, screw this" she runs back inside the TARDIS and sonics the console "open heart.." She says, affirming her thoughts. A panel on the console opens and a yellow light comes out.. Enveloping her, she doesn't know how or why but she's now connected to the TARDIS, it materialises away, back to London...
I sit down and just watch, going through every possible plan in my head, trying not to be angry at myself for allowing this to happen... Though I then hear it, my ship.. "What?" I stand up and turn around, only to see the TARDIS appearing, the doors open and Liv steps out. Only it's not her, not completely "what have you done?" "I looked into the TARDIS, and the TARDIS looked into me.." "Liv, you've got the entire time vortex running through your head!" "I can see it all... What can be, what was, what is and what must not.." I smile slightly "that's how I see the universe, all the time! Doesn't it drive you mad?" "... The Time War ends, I can see the Daleks, each and every atom of their existence and I divide them.." Her hand raises and a yellow light slightly emanates from it, I look out at the city. Daleks everywhere coming undone... It raises again as she states "I am the Bad Wolf, I create myself, I take the words.. I scatter them, across time and space.. To lead me here.." I watch as the words fly off into the sky..
"Liv that's enough!" "My head... It's killing me..." "Come here, I think you need a Doctor" I don't know why, but I kiss her, the energy going from her into me. She passes out and I lay her body down as I pass the energy back into the TARDIS...
Liv wakes up, the TARDIS back in the Torchwood building, I look at my hand... The orange energy already there. "You ok?" I just ask her, she stands up and says "I don't know it's like... There was a singing" "that's right, I sang a song and the Daleks ran away!" "No I was in the TARDIS and- I can't remember after that.." Before I can say anything a surge of regeneration energy forces me backwards "Doctor!" "Stay away!" "What's happening?" "I absorbed all the energy of the time vortex and no one's meant to do that.. I'm regenerating again.." She sighs and steps back "well, good luck" I smile and it happens...
It ends, I merely ask Liv "got a mirror?" She chuckles and passes me one "ok little taller, buffer too... Gosh the hair.. It just gets more curly every time doesn't it?" I smile and put my hand on the lever "ready?" Liv nods but we hear something outside...
