We stand in the TARDIS, Liv looking at me with surprise after my regeneration, though the moment is cut short by the sound of something squealing outside..
We run out, only to see a Dalek mutant crawling towards us "Doctor!" I go to grab my sonic but we hear the TARDIS materialising, not mine, but another.. It lands and he steps out, the 15th Doctor, big smile on his face as he uses his sonic to repel the Dalek away "oh, Torchwood.. Haven't been here in a LONG time" me and Liv share looks of confusion as it clicks in his head "ohh, I'm in this universe again" "hi, again, how'd you get here?" "Not sure, TARDIS fell through a wormhole, I'll find my way back" "well- hang on!" I follow him inside his TARDIS. He smiles and turns around "yeah?" "I've.. Learnt a lot since we last saw each other, in short- I'm the Doctor for real in this reality because of the Toymaker, I've come to terms with that but.. I still never properly change when I regenerate" "hm.. Hang on" he runs off and soon comes back with a funny syringe "DNA unbinder, your atoms are bound together in a way they shouldn't be, this should unlock them and you'll then be able to actually change upon regeneration, k'?" I smile and take the syringe, he smiles too and hugs Liv "look after him yeah?" "What if he's really annoying?" "Oh alright then" he chuckles and hugs me too "stay safe yeah? I'm still holding you responsible for this universe" "gotcha" "now you two, I have to get back to my own reality or else Ruby won't let me hear the end of it... Left her in an Aldi, on Mars.." We smile again and leave, watching his TARDIS vanish away..
"So, you gonna use that then?" Liv just asks, I look at the syringe in my hand and inject it into my arm. A wave of orange energy flows through me as I shake my head in relief "whew, yeah that definitely did something" "so.. Where to next?" "Don't know.. I fancy Wales" "works for me, I need something calm" I smile and we head into my own TARDIS..

We step out, on a beautiful green clifftop, the breeze washing over us like a warm embrace "oh it's gorgeous! Look at it, the land between the war and the sea it never ends!" Liv smiles as we look out at the ocean "let's go sightseeing spaceman" I laugh and follow Liv but step on.. Something "oh I'm so sorry" "what is it?" We kneel down and inspect it, cotton strung across the ground in a circle shape "some sort of fairy circle.." Liv picks up a piece of paper and reads "rest in peace mad Jack.. Who's that?" She turns to look at him but he's gone "Doctor?" She stands up and tries to get inside the TARDIS with the key, but nothing happens.. "I hope you're not having a wee around the back!" She calls out as she checks but again, nothing. "Where have you gone mister...?" She then spots her, an old woman, too far to make out her face but close enough to see "right.. Hiya! Have you seen my friend?" She runs closer but the woman just moves further away "what on earth.." She gets out her phone and calculates the distance "73 yards.. What's that all about?" She keeps looking at the woman, she's just doing some sort of sign language with her hands "okay this is a bit mental.." Liv looks out and spots a nearby village, and quickly decides to head there..
On the way she comes across a hiker and decides to ask her "hi, can you see her?" As she points to the woman "oh yes dear I can, she a friend of yours?" "No she's uh- following me I think? But I can't get close.. Could you go and talk to her? Try and find out what she's playing at?" "Oh, of course dear, happy to help I always say!" "Thanks.." Liv watches as the hiker approaches the woman, talking to her for a second but then listening and then.. She runs away, not just in fear but in absolute terror, Livs mind races with thoughts as to what the woman could've possibly said to the hiker to make her run away like that. Liv runs off too, eventually finding a pub..
The next morning, after not much happening, Liv gets out her phone and books a train ticket to London..
On the way there Liv keeps seeing her, in grassy fields, on farms, in streets, always the exact same distance away from her...
She's soon in a café and she sits down with Liv "thank you for calling me, I hope you're ok" Kate says to her "I'm just.. Still trying to adjust I suppose, it's been a week and still no sign of the Doctor.." "Well, UNIT are always happy to help the Doctor's companions after they return to a normal life" Liv just smiles a little as Kate looks behind her "is that the woman?" "Yeah.." It's safe to say that Kate then abandons Liv, just like the hiker, and the Doctor..
Liv gets back to her flat and just cries, alone.. Hoping, no, willing for the Doctor to come back. She soon stops and gets out her phone once more "I need someone I can trust.. Someone like.." It rings and he soon answers "oh hey Liv, what's up?" Jack asks "could you um.. Could you come over?" "You ok?" "No.. The Doctor's gone, and there's this woman.. I'm really scared" "I'll be right over.." He soon arrives and the pair hug "so, what happened?" "I don't know he stepped on this weird fairy circle and then he was just gone" "and this woman, she appeared after the Doctor disappeared yeah?" Liv nods "I think we should investigate that circle.." Jack turns to leave but Liv spots him, the Doctor. Stood at the window, looking out at the city "Doctor?" He's muttering something to himself but she can't make out what. She slowly approaches him and he turns to look at her, just saying three words "I'm so cold.." "You coming?" Jack asks which makes Liv snap out of the trance, the Doctor, if that was him, now gone. "Yep" she just says as she throws on her coat and the pair set for Wales..
The pair soon arrive on the clifftop, with the TARDIS still on its outcrop by the sea "we need to get inside" Jack states, Liv scoffs and responds with "you don't think I tried that? The key doesn't work, like it's locked from the inside" "yeah and I've got a teleporter, come on" he holds out his arm and Liv holds it with a smile. They're then inside the TARDIS, Liv wastes no time in turning the power back on "come on you, I need ya" Jack sets to work with the controls and soon deducts "when you broke that circle you fell into a different timeline, the TARDIS still being here is just an echo of what once was.." Liv remembers when she saw the Doctor in her flat, he must have been an echo too.. "So what do we do?" "We need to undo the timeline, unravel it" "okay, I think I'm following you" "Liv, I need the temporal coordinates of when you and the Doctor landed here" "right, hang on-" she types on a weird blue keyboard and finds them "I don't think the Doctor knows it but the TARDIS keeps a history of everywhere its landed in time and space, like Google.. Though the TARDIS is much more impressive" Jack smirks and puts the coordinates into the vortex manipulator "okay, when I undo the timeline these versions of us will cease to exist, you won't remember any of this" "but there'll be an echo of it.. In my mind" Jack smiles before saying "wish me luck" and with that, he vanishes..
We're talking amongst ourselves when out of nowhere, Jack appears "don't break the circle!" He commands before fading away.. "What just happened?" I ask myself as the two of us look at the circle "I don't know but.. I've got a feeling we should do as he says" "how do you know that?" "An echo.."
