Asylum Au

I thought of this before going to sleep so I started writing.

None of it happened. 

All of it was just in Sabre's mind.

Red? 

Got released.

Orange Steve?

K***** himself.

Dark? 

Just daily visits not a long term stay.

Time?

Staff member.

Most of the Steves Sabre met were either patients or staff.

Void was just the directer. Sabre hated him, and in his mind, he was the bad guy. He kept everyone there. It was his fault, when in reality, Void was just trying to help.

His therapist would change every couple of months, his last known therapist was Green.

He made this world as a way to figure out what was wrong with himself. Why he was there. He mad this little story about a Red Steve who had the same voice as his friend, find ways to save the world.

Every time that Lucas visited Sabre, he would always talk to the director. Who fit for a perfect future villain role and that's how Void, or Seer, became a hero. Because, in Sabre's mind, he was helping those who needed help but some of us shouldn't even be here.

Sabre had also made friends with one of the staff, his name was irrelevant but most knew him as Light. It was his idea to help Sabre with his little fantasy world. His thought process was that Sabre's problems would eventually show themselves.  

And they did.

Shadow was his problem.

The reason he was violent.

The reason he hurt those he loved.

He was undiagnosed at that point but when asked if he saw Shadow in the real world, he said: "yeah sometimes..."

The staff started to suspect schizophrenia, meaning Sabre could start getting treatment for it and get better. 

The first couple of months the medicine they had used didn't work, it only made him more violent. More violent then he was when he was admitted. But they were determined that they needed to find a medicine that would work with Sabre.

Meanwhile, when Sabre was left alone to his devices, he continued the story. Sabre was now being a spy against the head of staff and the director in his story.

Indigo loved Sabre's story encouraging him to keep fighting through it, Blue didn't love it as much but he appreciated it didn't last long.

When they had found a medicine that finally worked with Sabre, that was the point in the story with the Rainbow festival, after the darkness and sadness. 

He still had to come in for check ups but he had Lucas there and Tewtiy was supporting as well, occasionally accompanying him to his check ups.

While Sabre waited in the lobby he would play, and lose, at chess with none other then Void. Void would talk to him, giving him his own wisdom's and advice about how he should publish his story in some way because it could be an inspiration. 

But the story wasn't finished. 

Sabre couldn't think of a way to finish the story, but if the story was meant to be finished then something would surely happen...

After some weeks, Sabre started to black out. He would forget moments of his days, then he was admitted again. He zone back in in a cell and Light had to tell him what had happened.

Turns out the medicine started to fail. Then the story continued itself.

Shadow was back, Void was back, and he had returned to the hospital. 

The staff had to start treating him for other things other then schizophrenia. They had started psychotherapy with Sabre, as treatment for a possible multiple personality disorder. 

During these times, Sabre would fight with Shadow in his dreams and he had started to draw these dreams. Light has said that these drawing are the most creepy, unnerving thing he has ever seen. 

One day, he wondered off to the other wing of the hospital... The one for more unstable patients.

Sabre walked to a door, hearing voices beckoning him. Sabre was interrupted by one of the staff. 

After a while, Sabre managed to shut Shadow up. He was yet again released, he does come back to give support to the other patients, even with Shadow gone.

When talking to Light about his story, Light questions the armor and Sabre refuses to answer.

Sabre does return to the wing out of curiosity, talking to the voice inside the room. The voice told Sabre that the staff was keeping him there and that he shouldn't be here. There were many locks on his door.
