I hate that nobody notices,
What I want from all of this.
No one sees the pleading undertone,
it's hidden behind a computer screen.
The people who read the stories I write
always disappoint me with their replies.
Sure, they think they're giving me a compliment
by saying "This is amazing! I love it!"
But what I really want to know,
is what the story shows to you.
I don't want to create a plot that doesn't make sense.
I don't want to create characters that are flat or boring or unlikeable.
But no one sees that.
All they see is big words on paper that sound impressive.
Maybe I am confusing; Maybe I'm being ungrateful.
But it doesn't change the fact
that I want to be immortal.
