Nowhere else in my life
Is there a more romantic association
Than with outer space.
I've found myself missing it
The sea of stars,
The silence of the vacuum,
The solitude of emptiness.
Weightless, airless, soundless,
There is only the
glittering lights,
Brighter than Paris
And the hot-cold extremes
And the space marines.
All I ask is a tall space-ship
And all the stars in the universe to sail by.
