It was now early autumn, the weather colder than before. The leaves on the trees had almost finished falling, as the grounds were now covered in the colours of golden and red. Jungkook enjoyed the scenery whenever he would go out on the street, but today he wished to have just stay'ed home instead.

Sometime early in the morning, the PD had called him over to discuss the release of his album and was mostly angry that the last song was far from being done. He had given him a mental slap about the whole situation and had made it clear that the next time, there would be an end date.

Seeing as how he had forced the situation to become like this, it was evident that he'd be facing big consequences ahead. But to not make the matters worse, he ended up heading over to Jimin's house so they could start to work on the song. The fact that they had barely started when he used to stay over at Jungkook's house made him feel slightly guilty, knowing very well that he deserved the punishment heading his way.

Deciding to not pay any mind to it at the moment and concentrate on the task ahead, he slowly made his way towards his house and knocked on the door. He then ended up waiting for good two minutes before a woman suddenly pulled the door open abruptly, and walked out. Her expression had been anything but happy, making Jungkook guess that Jimin was probably not in the best state either.

But seeing that Jimin was nowhere from coming out, he ended up walking in and called out.

Soon, Jimin popped out from the corner, his lip bruised and slightly bleeding. Worried, Jungkook placed his bag on the floor and tilted his head up from his chin to get a better look. "I was wondering why your mom looked so angry. She didn't even greet me."

Jimin shrugged before walking towards his kitchen counter. "Typical of her. She just can't understand anything but knows how to hit someone when they don't please her." Jungkook sighed before walking after him and taking the bandaid from his hand. He then looked inside the drawer beside them for an ointment and squeezed it on his finger. "What was she angry about?"

Jimin tilted his head back for Jungkook, his eyes watching his face as the latter applied the white cream like substance very gently. "Because I came out on the cameras, you can already imagine the hate from the majority. She said I was disgraceful to our family and that I'd be better off not showing my face at their doorstep ever again."

Jungkook's expression softened as he took the bandaid and placed it on the side of his lip. "If only she knew what you went through already." Jimin's eyes met Jungkook's for a small moment before averting them again. "Well, she doesn't. And it's better that way." He then walked away to sit on the couch, later taking a cigarette out to place it between his lips. "And why did you come?"

"Oh- right. We have a song to write."

Jimin paused, then held his head after the realisation hit him. "Oh- we do. Fuck- Jungkook sorry, things were just so hectic and-"

Yet Jungkoook smiled as he took a seat beside him. "It's fine. It's mostly my fault anyways. But we can start now if you're free." Jimin nodded almost immediately and took some papers from under the table before them. "Yeah- let's do that. Have anything in mind?"

As they started to work things didn't feel as difficult as Jungkook thought they would, becoming relieved to know that Jimin was as invested in this as he himself was.

Soon, two days had already passed, both not having showered or eaten much at all. But as the sun rose on the second day, Jimin woke up to find Jungkook missing, only for him to reppear again from the bathroom upstairs. "You were in the shower?"
