I walk back into my dorm with bags of new things I bought for myself. I almost drop them when I see Evie and Harry talking amongst each other. He silently stares at me and while I am waiting for them to say something, he breaks into laughter. Almost lovely sounding, but deep. It would be enjoyable if I wasn't plotting to throw a brick at his head.
"Hey Lina! I see you bought somenew stuff!" Evie smiles.
"Sorry, I know I forgot to tell you he would be coming over," she shrugs apologetically.
Earlier I thought we could be friends, but now I'm thinking I should throw a brick at her too. Her choice of friends are not that great.
"Your boyfriend is obnoxious," I frown.
They both burst into laughter. What is with these people laughing at me? Might as well plot her death too.
"Harry is not my boyfriend," she laughs, emphasizing not.
"What did you say to her?" Evie turns and scowls at him, "Harry likes to converse with people in his own type of way."
She explains, looking back at me. Lovely, I have to deal with the devil basically. The English boy shrugs with a smirk. He's probably plotting my death too while we speak.
"There's a party tonight, would you like to come along?" She offers, but also demanding.
"I really don't party," I lie.
I go to parties all the time with my friends, but I never drank. AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW THESE PEOPLE. They could set me on fire for fun for all I know.
"Aww, please!! I promise you'll have fun tonight!" She begs.
"I don't know anyone there, besides I was going to skype my boyfriend Damon," I tell her and Harry laughs again.
Now I know that he is paying attention to what we are saying.
"Just come please! We'll take you! It's just one party!" She presses her hands together.
To be honest I don't even know her that well either, I would like to know her better, but just seeing two of her friends I'm afraid to see the rest. But partying with her and the big curly fry douche?
"I don't know..." I say.
Harry rolls his eyes, but still looks amused with my excuses. If only I can use that brick right now...
"Oh no! I was looking forward to hanging out with a hippie for once," he dryly remarks, his voice full of sarcasm.
"Come on Evie, this hippie is not the type to want to party," he laughs, his accent so thick and flowing.
His mocking grin plays on his face and I can't take losing against him for some reason. I will show him I can be a party goer, well I am, but I will show him I can actually have fun.
"I'll come," I challenge, smiling at Harry.
Harry chuckles again and Evie claps happily, she's a bit shorter than I am, but I find it cute when she jumps up an hugs me tightly. Also, she's a lot thinner which makes her seem like a little kid.
"Yay! You'll love it!" She shrieks.
I'm praying that she's right, I do not want to come back to my dorm with half of my face burnt off. Or even worse, pierced and tattooed on.
I'm grateful when Harry actually leaves.
"So where is this party?" I ask Evie.
"It's technically a frat party, at one of the frat houses here," she applies make up, "my friend Niall will be picking us up."
I'm just glad Harry isn't going to because my Claustrophobia would act up, which would make me gasp for air. I can picture Harry laughing at me as I die right in front of him. He drives me insane and I hate it. How can people stand to be around him? I get a migraine just looking at him.
