*1 Year Later*
"Lina get up, we need to get to the concert!" Eliana barges into Kian and I's room.
"Do I have to go?" I ask.
"Yes! You've been laying in bed for a week since Kian left on his business trip!" She pulls my blankets off.
"But I don't want to get out of bed," I whine.
"It's 2 in the afternoon, get your lazy ass up," Eliana grabs a pillow, smacking me with it.
"Uhh! What concert are we even going to?" I ask, sitting up.
"I can't tell you, it's a surprise remember!" She grins.
"This is torture," I groan.
"Just get ready! We leave at 4 so we can get to the stadium before it crowds up," she states.
"Stadium? This person is that big?" I raise my eyebrows.
"Yea, you'd be surprised how big they've gotten," she implies, "now get ready!"
She walks out the room and I pull myself up, wincing at my sore muscles from hiking yesterday. This crazy girls made me hike up to a waterfall and the hill was very steep, killing my thighs and calves.
I stumble my way into the bathroom and manage to get ready. Then I go back into my room to put on some decent clothes, well at least for me it's a regular green v-neck tee from Brandy's and some ripped black skinny jeans. My feet drag there way to the kitchen to warm up some ready to go coffee and put a waffle in the toaster.
"Are you excited?" Eliana comes out from the living room with a large grin.
"I don't even know who we're going to see, how am I suppose to be happy?" I stifle a laugh.
"Well what if I said we were front row to this concert?" She smirks.
"No way! Seriously?" My eyes widen, "how much did you pay?"
"You'd be surprised, I actually won it in a contest," something in her eyes flicker.
"You're serious?" I feel doubtful.
"Yea! Honestly for real," she nods.
I shake my head with a large smile, a squeal escapes my mouth and my waffle pops up, making me jump. My coffee is hot and ready with my waffle on a plate. I pour a bit of organic maple syrup on the organic waffle.
"What a health freak," she rolls her eyes.
"Shut up, I can't help it," I frown, stabbing my waffle with a fork and eating a piece.
After about a few minutes I finish up and clean up. Eliana pulls me out of the apartment as it's time to leave, I groan at he, but let her drag me. She's very excited for some reason, like way too excited. We've been to plenty of concerts before and she's never acted this excited.
"Why are you so joyful?" I ask.
"The artist is amazing, trust me, you love them too," she smirks.
I nod, trying to be assuring, but I can't help wonder who the hell this artist could be. The possible artists roam my mind and the dopamine in my brain cells increasing.
*Stadium*
"Come on! Hurry!" Eliana pulls me.
"Where are you taking me?" I ask while going through a spooky area.
"To the concert, dummy," she chuckles.
"But the line to the stadium is on the other side?"
"I've got a short cut!" She spits quickly.
I stay quiet as I try to think of where we could possibly be going, but all signs seem to be leading to the seats. We jog to an alley, the two buildings standing as sky scrapers tower us. The shadows of the buildings cause the alley to be darker than it should be, frightening me. A guard stands in front of a black door, standing tall and bough like a football player. His biceps barely fighting in his skin tight black t-shirt.
"What are you two doing back here?" His voice too deep for a normal human.
Eliana takes something out of her shirt, it looks like a card on a necklace chain. I frown as the guard nods and opens the door for us. This seems fishy and I don't like it one bit. Eliana leads us through a dim hallway, passing by multiple doors on the sides of us. We turn on a corner, leading to another hallway.
My chest tightens as I feel claustrophobic, making my heart bump against my tight rib cage roughly. Goosebumps form on my arms as the temperature seems to get colder around me. My eyes wander around the hallway, being paranoid that some creature may come out.
She drags me to the middle of the hall, stopping in front of a black door. She knocks on the it and we wait for who knows what. The thought of some masked killer brings my emotions to heighten and my hands to shake.
The door slightly opens, then swings out wide, "SURPRISE!"
A boy in a faded light blue unbuttoned jacket with a white tee underneath pops out. Liam stands in front of me, a wild grin on his face. My cheeks flush, leaving them white and my lips part. He grips me in a hug and I can't stop the gasp from coming out of my mouth.
"It's so great to see you after so long," Liam rubs my back.
My brain begins to process this, leading tears to abrupt my eyes as his familiar scent absorbs in my nose. Before he can let go of me, I wrap my fragile arms around him and hug him tighter. Then I hear yells from behind him, all of the boys run with wide arms ready to be around us. Within seconds, the boys wrap there arms around us, creating a large group hug.
As I take myself out of the group hug, I notice one person missing and he's the one that I'm most worried to gaze upon again. Those green eyes of his, will forever be a scar on my heart, but I'll never regret such a big lesson in my life.
"Lina?" That raspy, musical voice echoes in my ears.
I turn my body around where the sound had come from, a tall figure stands higher than me. My eyes trace up to meet those green eyes, the ones that I worried about, because I'm afraid they'll capture my heart again.
Time to worry...
