|you had a nightmare and you go to your dad|
tala had just woken up from a nightmare crying. She is scared to sleep by herself so she gets out of bed and creeps down the hall to her dads room.

im woken up by my door opening. I keep my eyes closed until i feel a tap and my shoulder and a little whisper.
'daddy' i hear my daughter say.
i open my eyes and immediately see tears streaming down her face
'tala whats wrong baby?' i say and sit up
'i had a nightmare' she says and her lip shakes.
'come 'ere baby its okay' i say and pick her uo and place her onto my lap. She cuddles into my lap.
'are you okay T?' she shakes her head.
'do you want to talk about it?' i ask and she nods.
She takes a breathe and starts, 'the monsters took you daddy' she says and starts to cry more.I rub circles on her back and her hand as i know it calms her.
'what monsters baby?'
'in my wardwobe' she says. She still can pronounce alot of words correctly.
'theres no monsters in there darling'
'b-but i saw them'
'it was just a dream baby no monsters would ever hurt you'
she shakes her head.
'should we go check?' i ask.
'she nods and i place her next to be and stand up,i hold my hand out for her.
'no daddy! carry me' she says and she makes grabby hands at me.
i place her on my hip and walk to her room.
we walk over to her wardrobe and she hides her face in the neck.
'its okay sweetie im right here' she turns to face the way of the wardrobe still cuddling up to me.
i open the wardrobe and look down at her.
'see no monsters baby'
'maybe they left'
'yeah definitely' i agree.
'wanna get back into bed now?' i ask her and she shakes her head.
'why not baby are you not tired anymore?
'i wan sleep wif you daddy'
'alright darling lets go' i say and walk back to my room.
I lay down and place her next to me. I kiss her forehead and say , 'sweet dreams baby girl,i love you' 'love you daddy' i get in reply. i get comfortable and then i feel a tiny body clinging to my back. I turn over and see her smiling at me.
'cuddles?' she asks. I nod and pull her close to my chest.
i rub her back and that sends her to sleep.
