the first day of school was always hard for aria, she struggles with separation from me.
its even harder because its her first day at a new school.
'you exited poppet?' i ask her looking in the mirror. She shakes her head.
'theres nothing to be worried about baby' i reassure her
'i dont like being away from you' she says quietly.
i sigh. 'i know baby but it will only be a few hours and i know you will have so much fun! you will make new friends!'
'but your my bestfriend daddy'
i smile to myself. 'and your my bestfriend baby but i wont be mad if you get a new one'
she shrugs.
'aria baby i talked to school yeah? im going to pick you up at lunch for a few days to make it easier for you!'
'thank you daddy'
' its okay baby'
when we get there i walk to her door and open in,she takes my hand and we walk to her class.
i crouch down to her level and give her some words of encoragement.
she wraps her arms around my neck and squeezes hard.
'i miss you daddy'
'ill miss you too baby,so so much.Now have anaazing day! i love you'
'love you' she says then off she walks into class.
