RAYA ALLESTER ;MIST                                                                                                                  September 19,2022

I ran. I ran as fast as I could to get home. When I got there, I had to just sit down. It was Inferno. I knew it was. He had the same body structure and the same quarter length, brown curly hair. His hair wasn't TOO curly, but just the ri- what am I talking about? I should just forget about it. Just then I heard some crying in the other room. It was Alurra. I guess Mrs. Smith must have just put her back in her crib because she saw me coming home. But, I would have seen her, right?

I went and picked her up. She was crying hysterically but started to calm down after a little bit.

" Are you hungry?" I asked with a little worry that something else was bothering her.

With her head on my shoulder, she replied with a muffled voice, "Mnmn."

So, I put her in her high chair while I made her some eggs to munch on.

"Guess what!?!" I said with extra enthusiasm.

"What?" she said as she giggled.

"I'm going to stay home for the rest of the day and all day tomorrow!"

"Really! Yay! We can play all day!" She said with so much cuteness that I thought I was going to melt right there.

Hours later we were sitting on the couch with a Disney movie in the background. Alurra had fallen asleep in my lap. At that moment I was just thinking about what happened today. First, the Principal let me stay home the rest of the day and all of tomorrow, then I almost died, and worst of all, INFERNO saved me! Why oh why did it have to be him? Right now I'm just really thankful that he didn't know who I was. If he did, I don't even want to think about it.
