With the serum finally finished, Jackson Jekyll stood in the Mad Science Lab. He held the serum in his hand, trying hard not to shake and spill it. He could hardly contain his excitement however, his entire body shaking.
He managed to not spill the serum, thankfully. "Are you ready, Holt?" Jackson asked out loud, a large, almost manic smile on his face. "As ready as ever, but shouldn't you test this one something, JJ? This seems dangerous, even for you." Holt voiced his concern, but it went ignored.
Jackson steadied his hand as he slowly brought the jar with the serum to his lips, he hesitated for a second before quickly gulping the serum down. Nothing seemed to happen at first before blinding hot pain shot through Jackson's body, he dropped the jar and collapsed to the floor.
Before Holt could even voice his worry for Jackson, their vision went up in white. Minutes passed before Holt sat up off the floor, it was silent besides his own breathing. No music to activate the switch between himself and Jackson, which meant Jackson's serum had to of worked. That, or it had somehow changed the trigger for their switch.
Holt groaned, feeling a strong headache coming on as he grabbed his head. He kept his eyes shut tightly, the light far too bright for his eyes at the moment. He breathed out heavily, taking a few seconds to himself before opening his eyes. Glass from the jar was scattered to his right, his eyes trailing the small path of it until he noticed Jackson laying there.
