Holt Hyde slowly shifted his way towards Jackson Jekyll, excited about how the serum had worked. His brother had successfully split them apart, even if he had made a bit of a mess with the broken glass.

Holt shook Jackson's shoulder gently, trying to wake him. "Jackson, it worked! C'mon, get up and see!" Holt tried shaking Jackson awake again, he didn't think Jackson would be out for longer then he was.

The more Holt looked Jackson over however, the more seemed to be wrong. A small pool of blood seemed to be seeping out from under Jackson's head, he must have hit it when he fell. And Holt couldn't see Jackson's chest rising. Jackson wasn't breathing.

Holt started to panic, sitting on his knees as he shook Jackson harder. "Jackson, come on. Wake up now, you split us apart. You can wake up and we can show everybody how you did it!" Holt's voice took on a panic tone as Jackson remained unresponsive.

"Jackie, come on. This isn't funny. Wake up." Holt could feel his own heart racing, he could hear his blood thrumming in his ears. Why wasn't Jackson waking up? He had to wake up. He had to.

"Jackson! Jackson, come on! Wake up, please!" Holt didn't hear the door open as he continued to try and shake Jackson awake. If Jackson didn't wake up, it was his fault. He caused this. This was his idea.

Holt started screaming as somebody tried to pull him away from Jackson, he refused to leave his brother. He had to wake Jackson up, he had to. "Stop it! Let me go! Jackson!" Holt tried to pull away from whoever had him, he could tell they were trying to talk but he didn't care. Couldn't they see Jackson? Why would they try to separate him and Jackson even further?
