Arietta's POV

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Ah! That person looks like Pariston! Or does he look like that person...? I wonder how-

"Pariston~!"

Pariston cut off my thoughts as abruptly as I'd thought of it.

"Why are you here?" His voice was filled with a sly tone that I'd never known from him. Hidden behind his words was a feeling of rage-unbelievable anger.

Ging's POV

\\\\\\\\\\\\

Gosh, I can't believe how ugly that thing is!

"Ah! Who's your friend, Pariston-kun?" The thing spoke once again.

That was when I noticed that Pariston was glaring daggers at that thing. Maybe it's my ticket out of here.

It had red hair-obvious by how strong a color it is, and dark brown eyes. That was when I noticed the hair was medium-length. 'It' must be a she. If it's not, well, it's still disturbing. Their mother or father possibly?

Perhaps I'm just analyzing this too deep. I should go back to sleep. Too much thinking.

Pariston's POV

\\\\\

N. O. Not possible. Why is she here?

She shouldn't even be here. I did not predict this.

My lips straightened as I tried to hide the emotion that was wrecking my brain.

I pulled out my new phone, fidgeting with the buttons to call dad.
Arietta still looked confused. Well, obviously this is because we aren't related. She doesn't recognize her as my mother. So then who is she?

Then I walked away from the crowd, beginning to talk to father. Realization struck me as he was talking-he had a fraternal twin brother; they were almost identical, if not for his brother's blue eyes. Arietta really isn't related to me! But I held in my surprise, telling him I'll see him later today or tomorrow.

What an idiot. How could I not realize this simple factor? I knew my father was a twin!

Arietta's POV

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

"Hey! Uh... Pariston? Who is she?" My eyes flickered to my "brother" as he wandered back into the crowd.

"My mother." He said simply.

Then I gaped my mouth wide open, "MOTHER?!"

My shriek filled the valley that we were in, next to the boat and a long span of water.

"Yeah, my father isn't your father. Your father, who looks exactly like him but with blue eyes, is my father's twin." Pariston explained.

My brain still sucking in all the information, I got distracted. My eyes caught Jahan walking over to a random tree about to sleep. How unfair! Why does he get to sleep and not me? Jerk.
