REVISED

Arietta felt the tears already forming. This is going to be some cliché letter, right? Like the ones in the movies when the wife or fiancée finds out their spouse is dead.

Dear Arietta Hill,

We regret to inform you that Killua Hill will be named lost in the line of duty, but for your sake, we will tell you that he is not yet dead. If all goes well, he will return to you soon.

Due to losing his namesake, he may have difficulties on this mission. Aside from that, his ability to persuade is amazingly effective on his opponent. This opponent will not be revealed to you for the sake of your health, but if your husband does by chance fail his mission, we must ask that you finish what he started.

The biggest problem is his enemies, though we doubt he can't handle them-there is a chance he won't come back home. Prepare for the worst with your wonderful children.

Sincerely,

The Hunter's Association

"Finish what he started?" Her voice was shattered towards the middle of the letter. How could she finish what her possibly deceased husband started if she don't know who the enemy is? Goodness! That Netero. Always messing with them and ignoring their demands. Not this time. If... If Killua d-di-ies... She... She wouldn't be able to face her children... Their children.

"Mumma! Mumma!" Squealed Ko as Arietta gave her the medicine for her... Disease.

"What is it, sweetness?" Sweetness was a name that would always get her happy-she always wanted to be a candy, only the Lord knows why.

"Ko made butterfries! Butterfries!" Ko grinned happily at her mother as she held out the two slightly messed-up clay sculpted butterflies.

"Very pretty, sweetness. What are you going to name them?" Arietta's eyes glittered as her little girl thought really hard on what to name the two clay insects.

"Fifi and Popo!" She cried in happiness as her mother wrote the names on the wings of the butterflies.

"More like Ms. Ugly and Mr. Fat." The blonde scowled. He's here again? "Hey, what's with that face? I told you I wouldn't be here often so brighten up." Her scowl deepened.

"You don't just insult my little sweetness's creations! You... You... Short, ugly, fat, and green porcupine!" Ko looked up at her and whispered in a soft and gentle voice.

"It's okey mumma. Fifi and Popo are hoppy."

Soon afterwards, she broke down into tears. It was getting late, so she took Ko upstairs to sleep.

After some explanation, Ging got some tea for themselves and fell asleep. On her couch. In her house. This angered Arietta very much, but she guessed she did need a friend to lessen the pain of uselessness. That doesn't mean that he can just fall asleep on her though! He's supposed to be comforting, helping her through her issues...

She wanted to wake him up in the worst way, and tell him everything, but suddenly felt rather drowsy as well. Was it something in the tea?

Darn it Ging... She should've never trusted him to make the tea. What does she have to do to make him act normal? Oh, right... She's not normal either. That idiot. He shouldn't do this when she has kids to protect!

Slowly drifting off to sleep, Arietta heard Ko squealing and cheering as her feet thumped against the floor. Suddenly, she heard a crash and crack of clay. Ko?!

Her body tensed and shifted to move, but the sleeping pills that were mixed into the tea were getting to her.

I hate you Ging!

"I told you I'd be back..." A woman's scratchy voice spoke, "And now I'm here."

"Ugh... What whacked you up in the head?" Arietta grumbled as her consciousness came back to her slowly, and she scratched her blonde mop in confusion.

Reaching her hands out to feel the ground, She realized her hands were tied, and so were her legs. Thankfully, this is why she has Nen. Come on... It's not that hard to get rid of rope!

"You'll be sorry you ever said anything." The woman said, kicking Arietta in the head.

But, right as she kicked her, Arietta bit her foot-or rather, her shoe. Leathery...

Arietta gagged a bit from the taste as the rope came loose from her Nen knives. Grabbing the knives in her hands, she took a defensive stance.

Looking around the room, she noticed it was just them. Perfect.

"Wondering where your kids are? Don't worry. They're safe. Your friend helped them escape, but I do think they had quite a fun time here..."

"You freak! What did you do to my kids?" Fury burned in Arietta's eyes.

"Just a little payback for what Kil couldn't repay."
