Title: What Every Girl (Except Me) Knows

It's saddening when parents have to break up and divorce. It's devastating to the children's well-being. It's even more heartbreaking when one parent can't handle the breakup and decides to take their own life without thinking about their children. It's so selfish but emotions are too heavy to handle sometimes. The children grow up with a broken family. They try to survive with one parent who's physically present but mentally and emotionally absent. The parent also try to survive life and still have to provide for their children alone. Children need guidance from both parents together but is it worth staying in a marriage that's doomed to fail but you're just trying to hold on to just for the sake of the kids? Or leave and witness the fall of the children's well-being?

Good thing, Gabby tried to learn 'girly' things from other people and survive life through writing in her list journal. It's hard to lose a mother at a very young age that you can't even remember her existence once. Imagine the poor girl's longing to have a mother. She even blamed herself for her mother's death when it wasn't her fault. Her father failed to explain things to her that she and her brother ended up going to the old apartment they used to live in hoping memories would surface and remember them.

Sometimes, I question married people who ended up getting divorced. Why would you go through the marriage and just give up on each other easily without even thinking about the after-effects it would bring? Why is a relationship so complicated? Why let your children suffer from the mess you all started? 🤷‍♀️
