♧¹⁹ ᵂʰᵒ ᴰⁱᵈ ⁱᵗ...♧

You stood alone in a dark room, looking around you saw nothing but darkness. "Hello?" You called out, your voice echoing. "Where.. am I?" You whispered to yourself, you took one step, the ground underneath you began to glow lightly. You stepped back, more light began to surround you. Little by little it began to spread around you, then stopped.

Confused you stood still, your ears low. The light then began to float infront of you like smoke balling up, making a little ball of light.

You looked into it, an image slowly began to form in the ball. You squinted, reaching out to touch the ball, it suddenly made a yelling sound causing you to jump back falling down.

You sat up panting heavily, your heart pounding against your chest.

Angel moaned opening his eyes he looked up at you sitting up. "Hey you alright?" He immediately grabbed your paw. "You look pale.."

You looked at him shaking your head. "I just.. had.. a weird... dream?" You sighed deeply rubbing your head.

"Sorry about that kid." Angel stretched yawning. "Geez.. my head.." He gently rubbed his temple.

"Here let me go get ya something for you." You patted his lap standing up stretching then walking out of your room.

It was early, a little too early for you to get ready for work.

As you made your way downstairs your ears twitched, looking towards the lobby you titled your head. "Husk? What.. are you doing out here so early?" You walked over.

Husker looked at you. "Couldn't sleep much.." He rubbed the back of his next. "Also worried for Nicole.. they haven't came back yet." He glanced at you.

Your ears lowered. "No?... You don't think.. something happened.. to them? You don't this Val-"

"No.. At least I hope not." Husker sighed deeply. "They've never really been gone this long, maybe I-"

"We should go look for them, they're my friend too and I'm worried.. I.. had a weird dream.. like I.. was in a dark.. place and when I walked there was light, then this light form some kind of ball, I could see something but then I heard a scream it scared me, waking me up." You explained the best you could, hoping Husker did find you crazy, you glanced at him.

He looked back at you, his face serious. "Hm.. maybe it's not just a dream but.. some kind.. of power? Maybe.. to see things that you can't see now." He spoke softly.

Your ears twitched. "You.. might be right like a crystal ball type thing right?" You nodded. "Then.. who.. was that screaming?.." You're mind began to wonder.

"Don't think too much about it right now.. um why were you out here anyways?" Husker asked. "Shit I came out for some medication for Angel." You knocked yourself out of your thoughts, quickly stood up running to go do what you came down to do.

It began to get later you went to work, hoping to maybe see if Nicole was there already. But there was no sign of them, during your shift Moon walked up to you. "Hey Y/N have you seen Nicole? They didn't come to work today either.. something happen?" She spoke quietly.

You looked at Moon shaking your head. "No.. Ma'am, they.. haven't came back either." You whispered.

Moon's face immediately filled with worry. "Well.. I hope they come back soon." She sighed walking off.

You watched her walk away your ears low, you sighed going back to work, when a sharp pain hit your head, something flashed before your eyes, a pair of bounded paws, and wings.

You stumbled back, almost loosing your balance. 'No.. wait.. it can't be.. no..' You shook your head. 'Please.. no..' You looked around, not knowing what to do. You went back to work.

As you continued to work your mind in the image you seen, you couldn't be to sure if it was Nicole maybe it was just your nerves playing trick with your mind right? Nicole was strong they wouldn't be at anyone's mercy..

Right?

The rest if the day was rough you tried your hardest to stay focused on work, you began to slip up growing frustrated with yourself. As your shift ended you got dressed into your clothes leaving the casino.

Ready to go look for Nicole tonight, as you passed an ally your nose was hit with the smell of blood. You stopped in your tracks looking into the ally.

In the shadows you saw someone moving slowly, groaning in pain.

You slowly turned walking in. "Hello?.." You called out.

The figure froze.

You got closer, you felt your heart stop when you got a good look at the figure.

Nicole sat there one of thier wings were broke and missing feathers, they had wounds all over their body, she looked pale and in rough shape, their wrists were still tied together.

"Nicole!" You ran over to them, examining them.

Nicole looked up at you weakly, they looked close to death. Though if one died they would respawn after time. You didn't know that.

You quickly helped Nicole up to their paws, they let out weak groans, thier eyes closing.

You immediately began to help them back to the hotel.

Upon returning you stumbled to the couch gently placing Nicole down, they coughed, their eyes still closed.

Husker immediately ran over. "The fuck? The fuck happened to them?!" He looked at them examining their wounds. "I don't know.. I just.. found them like this." You whispered going to untie their hands. "They look real bad Y/N" He spoke immediately walking away to grab some medical equipment.

You stayed with Nicole grasping their, paw squeezing it tightly. They squeezed your paw back weakly.

It took hours to clean them up, and patch them up, you tried your best to help, everyone was immediately alerted.

They needed a few stitches, their wing needed a cast but you tried your best to patched it up in a make shift cast.

"Who the fuck did this.. who did this to them? If I find them I'll fucking kill them!" Angel snarled holding back his tears as he gently petting their head.

"I just found them like this their wounds were bad.. " You whispered. "Someone must have surprised them on their way to work?.." You spoke shakily.

Angel growled. "I'm going to find the asshole who did this and make them suffer!"

"Angel please calm down." Husker spoke firmly. "We're upset too but we can't just go out and try to find the guy, we need to be here for them."

You looked at Husker placing your paw on his shoulder. "He's right, we can wait till they wake up maybe they can tell us who did this to then.. then we can have our revenge.." You spoke darkly.
