It was close to noon, almost time for your date, you were a little nervous about your 'friendly' date with Husker today. You couldn't figure out what to wear.

You sat on your bed paw on your head, there was a light knock at your door, you looked up. "Come in" The door opened Nicole walked in. "Hey.. Nervous?" They asked smiling gently. "Pretty much.. don't know what to wear.. I mean I wore pretty much everything.. I think it would be.. um.. I don't know." You sighed angrily. "Hey easy, easy, I can help you don't worry." Nicole walked over to you place their paw on your shoulder. "Leave the clothing to me alright?" She nodded firmly.

Nicole had went to their room to grab a few things then came back. "Alright, now let's pair.. this with this.. and this would look good.. now put these on and then we can fix your fur up.." You nodded grabbing the clothes Nicole had put together for you. You walked to the bathroom and began to change, first you put on a silky and tight fit turtle neck which was black then some dark navy blue dress pants, lastly a oversized sweater which happened to be f/c (favorite color).

You walked out of the bathroom. Nicole looked over their eyes lighting up, "Man you really are an eye catcher." They chuckled walking over. "Alright, now just to brush you out just a little.." They mumbled to themselves. After a bit they backed up and smiled brightly. "Tada!" They backed up some more and gestured to the mirror. You glanced at them then walked up to the mirror your eyes began to glitter brightly, this was probably the first time you've seen yourself attractive, you looked back at Nicole running over to them hugging them tightly. "Thanks Nic.. thank you."

Nicole held back a whimper from the pain from their wounds but hugged you back. "Hey, this is nothing you deserve more." They gently rubbed your back. "Now have fun out there hope things go well for you okay?" They pulled away patting your shoulder. Have fun out there okay?" They smiled gently before walking off leaving you alone.

You stood there taking in a deep breath before walking out of your room making your way down to the lobby.

Husker stood there by the door fiddling with this bowtie, he looked up seeing you come down the stairs, he felt his heart skip a beat as his eyes laid on you. His eyes examined your outfit. "You.. look.. good" He cleared his throat.

You felt your cheeks heat up "Heh.. thanks. Nicole helped me with it.. um sorry for keeping ya.." You scratched the back of your neck. Husker shook his head. "I haven't been waiting for long, don't worry." Husker stuck out his arm for you to grab onto. You smiled shyly wrapping your arm around his. The two walked out.

Husker took you for a small walk, which you enjoyed. It was a quiet time, not saying a word. The two spent quite some time on this small walk enjoying each other company. The silence was suddenly interrupted by your stomach rumbling from hunger. Your face began to glow a bright red, a quiet chuckle escaped Husker. "Hungry?" He asked. You looked down nodding slowly. "Pretty much.. Didn't have lunch.. and well it's close to dinner.. sooo.." Husker gently grabbed your paw. "Let's go get something then." He nodded before walking leading you somewhere.

As you walked next to Husker you glanced around at shops which slowly began to look more like small shops that were family owned. Your eyes glanced around at the little town which was small, yet comforting. Husker glanced back at you smiling. He suddenly stopped at a small resturant.

You looked at it. It was small indeed but looked like it was packed with customers, Husker walked in, you followed him. "I heard they have great homemade meals here.." He glanced back at you while he walking up to the reservation desk. The young female smiled brightly. "Hello and welcome, may I have your name sir?" She asked him. "Husker." He replied. "Ah yes a table for two this way please." She picked up some menus before walking over to a small booth for two.
