{Ambrose POV, a few months after the previous chapter}

"Hey Ambrose,~"
"Hm? Oh hello Venti. Do you need someth-"
"You~"

I felt my face heat up almost instantly. "V-venti!!"
"Whatttt? Its true~!"
"You can't just-!!" I groaned.

Venti frowned and I sighed, realizing I may be being a little harsh.

"Welllllllllllllllll-"
"Well, what-?"
"Ehe~"
"Venti-"

Venti grabbed my hand and dove off the cliff. Next thing I knew we were hovering over the water.

"Did I scare ya?"
"Yes!"
"Ehe~"
"Venti you can't just jump off of random cliffs, it's dangerous!"
"I suppose if you're the one asking.

He brought me back to dry land and placed a finger on my nose.

"Well, shall we get going to Windrise?"
"Why? Have a surprise for me there?"
"You know me too well Ambrose!"

{A little bit later}

"We're here!"
"So, why'd you bring me here?"
"Well, I wanted to give you this!"

He reached over and nestled a Cecilia into my hair, I smiled.

"A gift for you." He bowed.

"Well thank you."
"Of course!" He mumbled. "I had to give a gift to the one I love."

I could tell I visibly paused, because Venti very quickly realized I had heard him.

"You..love me?"
"I- uh- heh-"
I sighed, a smile forming on my face, "I do love you back Venti."
"You do? That's amazing!"
I chuckled and I felt arms embrace me. I hugged Venti back and patted his head.

"Sooooo does that mean I can take you on a date~?"
"Sure, you can if you want. Not to a tavern though preferably-"
"Awww okayyy!"
