I woke up and quickly went to the washroom to take care of my business because today we would go to the Malhotra Mansion. I skipped the gym since I woke up a little late.
I don't know why, but I just wanted to see her; there was something strange happening with me. There was a sudden urge to see her. I wore my formal attire since I had to go to the office after visiting the Malhotra Mansion.
I made my way down to the breakfast table, where my whole family was chirping happily. As they heard my footsteps, their gazes turned toward me.
I greeted everyone with a good morning, and then my Mumma shouted at me, "At least wear something Indian; we are not going there to finalize a deal!" Even Chachi joined in, saying, "Ayaan, bache, you should wear something traditional since we are going to your in-laws."
But I simply replied, "After visiting there, I have to go to the office," and they didn't push me much, as they thought I might refuse to come.
We started with breakfast, and these three idiots began teasing me, but my one glare was enough to shut them up.
"Bhai, you glare at us too much! Just wait until Bhabhi arrives; we'll see who glares and who gets scared," Naksh said.
Suddenly, Kiana's face appeared in my mind, and it was getting frustrating; she had completely occupied my thoughts.
As I glared at Naksh, Dadi and Dadu said, "We have to leave."
In one car, Mumma, Dad, Chacha, and Chachi went.
In the second car, Dadi and Dadu went, leaving me with these three idiots.
I knew that if they came in my car, Naksh and Shreya would irritate me with their teasing, while Agastya would just smirk. I told them to take another car, but just then, Shreya and Naksh made their puppy faces. I sighed and told them they could join.
I was not wrong; the whole ride, those two irritated me with their teasing while Agastya just smirked at me, and I simply glared at them.
As we reached the Malhotra Mansion, the guards opened the big gate, which wasn't bigger than ours, and the entire mansion was decorated with flowers.
My cousins gasped at the decorations, and suddenly, a wave of anger bubbled inside me at the thought of having to see that girl's face.
As I stepped inside, I met Chetan Malhotra, and we exchanged a knowing glance; this man was asking for assurance of our deal, to which I gave him an assuring look.
I shared a brotherly hug with Rishabh and Naina Bhabhi and greeted Prisha Aunty (Kiana's mother).
My family and cousins greeted them, and then Aunty asked Bhabhi to call Riddhima.
As I heard her name, my jaw clenched. Then she came down the stairs, looking at me, but when I looked back at her, she diverted her gaze. I could see that she was scared, which showed that she felt guilty.
