"I was feeling everything, but I felt someone shaking me, which made my eyes flutter open, and I jolted awake.

"Tigress, are you okay?" Ayaan asked me, worry etched on his face.

I looked down at myself, and that's when I realized it was a dream. I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Are you okay, Kiana?" he asked, and I came back to my senses.

"Y.. yes, I am okay," I replied, stuttering and panting.

"No, you are not, Kiana. You are sweating, and you were digging your nails into your palms, and you were constantly murmuring in your sleep," he said, his voice filled with worry and concern.

"I am fine," I replied, wiping the sweat off my forehead with my palms.

"What nightmare did you have?" he asked me, and I got a flashback of it.

"Tigress?" his voice reached out to me gently.

"What tigress? No need to pretend this drama and go down; Kavya must be waiting," I said, and it was clear he was just composing his anger. His jaw clenched; I am shocked that the bones haven't cracked till now, his eyebrows squinted in frustration.

"Fine, this is what you want, right?" he replied and went downstairs.

Audacity. Audacity this man has; this even infuriated me more.

But the earlier tension was still lingering in my mind. I hurriedly picked up my phone and dialed Richard's number, and he picked up within the first ring.

"Richard, is my sister fine?" I replied, my voice etched with worry and tension.

"Yes, ma'am, she is safe and sound. You don't need to worry," he said, and I felt my body relax.

"Richard, I want you to increase the security system and appoint more bodyguards. Make sure she doesn't even step out of the penthouse," I replied to him strictly.

"Sure, ma'am, but is everything fine?" he asked me.

"Yes, just do as I told you," I said to him coldly.

"Yes, ma'am," he said with determination.

"Fine, keep me updated," and I hung up the call.

I felt so relieved. I just couldn't imagine that thing happening in real life. For a moment, I felt everything was real. I am so glad Ayaan woke me up from the dream. And I think I lashed out at him for no reason. Although I don't want to talk to him, I shouldn't have yelled at him. Fine, I will apologize to him.

I bathed and got ready in my formals and went downstairs. I am really happy that I will meet all the elders after so many days, and we all will have breakfast together. I ascended the stairs, and I already found everyone laughing and engrossed in their conversations, and even Ayaan had a smile on his face. Strange.
