Ayaan's POV

"Sir, this is a parcel that has come for you," Vinay said, holding a box wrapped in gift paper.

"From whom?" I asked, confused, as I looked at the box. I wondered what it might contain.

"Sir, the name of the sender isn't mentioned," he said, examining the box closely.

"Okay, keep it. I'll check it later," I said, and he left. I continued working, and after a couple of hours, I decided to take a break.

I got up from my chair, stretched my body, and my gaze fell on the box—I had completely forgotten about it. I picked it up and shook it, but it was surprisingly light.

I sat down on the couch nearby and started unwrapping the box. What could it possibly contain, and why would someone send me a gift? Is it some kind of prank?

I removed the wrapping paper and opened the box. Inside, there was only a letter. I unfolded it and began to read:

The Letter

Seems like you're enjoying your life after ruining mine. But don't worry, this happiness won't last long because I'm going to make your life a living hell. And take care of your wife—hope she doesn't die today.

Yours truly,
D

As I read the letter, a cold chill ran through my body, but my heart burned with rage. Whoever this bastard is, they're clever. A few weeks ago, I sent my men to track down the guy who sent that video clip of Bhai and Riddhima on the cliff, but he was found brutally murdered in his home. The more I try to unravel this mess, the more tangled it becomes. It feels like I'm caught in a web, getting more and more entangled with each move I make. And this person who sent the letter is clearly a mastermind. But damn it, my top priority right now is Kiana and Shreya.

I dialed their numbers, but neither of them answered. How can Shreya and Kiana be so careless? I didn't expect this from my tigress, at least.

"Vinay!" I roared from my office, and he entered almost immediately.

"Yes, sir," he said, his voice tense, sensing my anger and concern.

"Track down Kiana now," I ordered, and he nodded, glancing at his watch.

"Vinay, what are you waiting for?" I snapped, rubbing my temples.

"Sir, it's late, and the person who can help with the tracking has already left for home," he explained. I slammed my hand on the glass table, causing it to crack, shards of glass pricking my skin and drawing blood, but I felt no pain. My only focus was Kiana.

"Do whatever it takes—throw money at him if you have to—but tell him to track her down now!" I said, my voice on the edge, and Vinay hurriedly left.

I'd called Kiana 150 times, and still not a single answer, not even a message.

"Sir, you should leave the office. I'll call you as soon as I get Ma'am's location," Vinay said, and I grabbed my keys, ready to leave, but then my phone rang.
