"My life is nothing short of a dramatic film. Here I am, seated in the wedding altar and awaiting my supposed bride, though I've replaced 'bride' with someone I despise. While my family joyfully partakes in the customary rituals, oblivious to the turmoil within me, I seethe with anger. To hell with this marriage! She may have sought to rescue her sister, but now she's ensnared with me, and I'll ensure she regrets every moment spent in this union. The hatred and fury I harbor towards her and her sister defy description. How has she managed to charm everyone around her? My mother, aunt, grandparents-all wear smiles, while my uncle and father standing worried. And these three idiots standing and grinning as if nothing has happened. And how can I forget my idiot friend he is just lost in the thoughts of Naira, Since he has seen her he is just lost.

Lost in my thoughts, I came back to reality by the priest's call to bring the bride.

As I sit there, my expression impassive, the sound of anklets fills the air. I lift my gaze, and for a moment, time stands still. There she is coming with Naira, she ascending the stairs like a queen. Her face remained devoid of emotions, her innocent brown eyes holding an equal measure of hatred-the same hatred I harbored for her. Draped in a crimson lehenga that hugged her form like a second skin, her long hair styled in a bun with a few loose strands framing her face, she looked ethereal. Her beauty was indescribable; if I had to choose one word, it would be "divine." As I gazed at her, the decorations around us seemed to pale in comparison. Sensing my gaze, she looked up, and our eyes locked in a silent exchange of animosity. And she diverted her gaze. She came and sat next to me, the only thing I feel right now is anger. The priest started to recite the mantras.
