Chapter 36

Yera walked to Bora and slapped her. This took everyone by surprise, even Baekwon. He walked to wife and pulled her away from Bora.

"They don't care, honey. There is no point in hitting them or even telling them anything" Baekwon tried to calm his wife, who was only seeing red.

She looked Minyoung, she glared at her "I knew you were low bitch but I didn't think that you would fall so far! What was the need to trigger the child's trauma?!"

"I told him to stay away-"

"For once, Minyoung, for fucking once, look around you! Look at the people around you and see how you are hurting! I know what you went through when you were young, but that still doesn't give you the reason to do this!! I know Bora told you everything about Jungkook, yet you decided to do this?! You know very well what happens when a childhood traumas is triggered! You know that very well. Why the fuck are you doing?! Do you want your son to be as unhappy as you?!" Yera told her rather calmly.

"I am not un-"

Yera scoffed "Your husband doesn't love, he has an affair with someone and you know it, your son doesn't even want to see his eomma's face, your son hates you. Your life couldn't go worse" 

"That does not explain you slapping our daughter!!" Mrs. Jeon said.

"Be happy that I only slapped. I don't have a silencer gun or else I would have fucking killed her!" Yera turned to Baekwon "Should we check on Kookie?"

"You go, I will stay here"

"I am not leaving you here alone!"

"We are here. We won't let anything happen to your husband, Yera" Jihoon said. Yera thought for a minutes and the nodded then went to Jimin's room after getting an assuring smile from her husband.

Jimin closed the door and Taehyung made Jungkook sit on the bed but Jungkook didn't leave either of them. He was scared, he hated being this scared but he couldn't hold himself back. He hated when people get worried about him, but he couldn't help it this time.

VMin sat beside him and held him closer. They made that their hold on Jungkook is tight, so that the latter doesn't feel scared which he clearly was.

"Taetae" Jimin called Taehyung who looked at him "You knew they were coming, right?" Jimin asked. Taehyung nodded. Jungkook looked up at him with surprise.

"I overheard Bora talking, I was planning to do something but before I could, they came here. I really had no time that they were coming right now. She didn't mention the time. If I knew they were coming then I would have dragged you guys away"

"But why would you even know do that? You wouldn't have known that they are my biggest trigger" Jungkook mumbled. Both of them heard it.

"I didn't know that until you said, but the things we heard you say to Bora showed that they might trigger you. I mean even Bora did" Taehyung gentle patted his boyfriend's head. Jungkook nodded.

"You want to cuddle, Kookie?" Jimin asked. Jungkook nodded.

Jimin smiled and slowly guided him to the bed. He laid Jungkook on the bed and then laid himself down on Jungkook's right with Taehyung being on his left.

Jungkook was almost asleep when someone knocked on the door. Taehyung patted Jungkook's head and got up. He opened the door and let his eomma in.

"Kookie..." Yera said in a soft voice. Jungkook turned his head and saw Yera standing by the door. He felt guilty for pushing her away when all she did was comfort him but he still acted like a jerk.

He moved towards her. She smiled and sat on the bed beside, she held his hand and patted his head.

"Everything will be fine, Kookie"

"I am sorry for pushing you away, I didn't mean it-"

"I know. It's okay, Kookie" Yera pulled him in a hug. 

Taehyung went to Jimin's side after closing the door. They both stayed quite as Jungkook and Yera had a moment. They wanted to know what happened but they knew they had to wait, but do they? VMin looked at each other and nodded.
