Chapter 38

"What are you smiling at?!" Mr. Jeon asked.

"At the slap mark on your beloved daughter's face" 

"You ungrateful brat should have died instead of your brother!!" Mrs. Jeon scoffed.

"I know. You tell me that almost every time we meet"

"And still you are alive" Bora said while rubbing her cheek.

"One day, I will die too. You don't have to worry" Jungkook smiled at them to which they scoffed but Minyoung saw something that she didn't expect to see in Jungkook's eyes. She didn't see that when she pointed a gun at his head. The emotion is very familiar with, pain.

"Why are yours eyes radiating so much pain?" Minyoung asked. Except Yera and Baekwon, everyone was shocked at Minyoung's question. They never expected her to understand that emotion.

"Why do you care?!" Jungkook asked.

"I don't care, but I know the pain you are reflecting in your eyes" everyone frowned at her statement.

"What pain do you even have?! You are literally everything!" Bora scoffed at her.

"Even though I act like I own everything over here but that doesn't mean I own everything. To be honest, I don't own anything"

"Why are you acting so nice suddenly? Did you hit your head somewhere while we were gone?" Jungkook asked with a questioning look.

"She is just getting back to normal and dropping her act of being a bad eomma" Jimin said. 

TaeKook looked at her with a questioning look "The switch say what?!" they asked together,

"It was an act... She was never the bad eomma"

"And you are telling us this now?! After all the drama?!" Taehyung asked.

"We asked him not to, and when was the drama done?!" Yera said.

"What the fuck is happening?!" Bora asked.

"Like I know shit! All I know is that want to put a bullet in your head and send you to hell!" Jungkook said.

"Respect her! She is elder than you!" Mr. Jeon said.

"Why does she come to her younger brother for money?! And why did she kill one of her younger brother than framed her other younger brother for murder?!" 

"What?!" Mrs. Jeon was shocked.

"Is today someday of exposing everything out of fucking nowhere?!" Taehyung asked.

"I think so" Sungo replied "What the fuck is happening and why so suddenly?!" 

"I just follow eomma's act and I thought she wanted to get over with it" Jimin shrugged.

"I couldn't stop myself from asking the question. His eyes just had so much pain that I had to ask. I don't know what happened and why" Minyoung sighed after completing her sentence.

"This is fucked..." Jungkook mumbled.

"What is more fucked that my Appa who acts all nice and perfect is the reason why eomma tried to take the abortion pills and stop me from entering the world. That was the only thing that was true from everything told to you guys" Jimin said.

"I need a drink and an explanation" Taehyung said as he sat down on the couch.

"Me too" Jungkook sat beside him.
