"Y/n." I say.

"Yes?" Y/n asks.

"Are you free tonight?" I ask.

"Yeah." Y/n says.

"Let's get dinner tonight with my parents." I say.

"On second thought..." Y/n says.

"Y/n." I say.

"Parents are scary." Y/n says.

"They've been dying to meet you." I say.

"Great! Now I have expectations to live up to." Y/n says.

"Baby, it'll be fine. If they say something wrong, I'll correct them." I say.

"Alright, alright. I mean, how scary can they be? They made you and you're a goody two shoes." Y/n says.

I glare at her and she laughs.

Time Skip

"I thought Y/n was supposed to be joining us." Mom says.

"Uh, yeah. She had to run an errand first. Let me see where she is." I say, grabbing my phone.

I open Find My and press Y/n's name. I see her outside and I furrow my eyebrows.

"I'll be back." I say, getting up.

Mom nods and I walk outside.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"Every time I reach for the door my hand stops." Y/n says.

I sigh and grab her hand. I pull her inside and we walk to the table.

"There she is." Mom says.

"Yeah... here I am." Y/n says.

I nudge Y/n and she shakes their hands.

"What took you so long?" Dad asks as we sit down.

"Uh, I had t-to finish w-work." Y/n says.

"You don't sound so sure of yourself, you're stuttering." Dad says.

"Don't be so insensitive, maybe she has a stutter." Mom says, lighting hitting dad.

"Do you?" Dad asks.

"N-No, I'm just super nervous." Y/n says.

"I can tell, you're sweating bullets." Dad says, chuckling.

"Drink some water, baby." I say handing Y/n my cup.

She takes a few sips and I rub her back.

"Better?" I ask.

"Better." She says.

"There's no reason to be nervous, we don't bite." Mom says, reaching across the table to hold her hand.

"I do." Dad says.

"Dad." I say.

"What? I'm just messing with her. Don't be so soft." Dad says, holding his hands up.

"Now, what are your intentions with my daughter?" He asks.

"Oh my god." I mumble.

"Nothing but good things sir." Y/n says.

"You gonna take care of her?" He asks.

"I don't think she needs anyone to take care of her but if I have to, yeah, of course." Y/n says.

"Good answer." He says.

"What is this? Family Feud?" Y/n asks.

We laugh and she smiles.
