"I'm sorry." Griffin says as I take the shot.

"How didn't you know her sister was Y/n Y/l/n?!" I ask.

"They don't have the same last name!" Griffin says.

"Because they're half siblings, that's why they don't look alike." I say.

"So how was I supposed to know?!" Griffin asks.

"So you knew nothing about her sister but still tried to set her up with her? She could've been a murderer!" I say.

"Well, Y/n has threatened to kill you..." Griffin says.

"Exactly my point! I have to share a room with the woman who wants to kill me." I say.

"It's one bed by the way." He says.

"She might kill you instead." I say.

"Hailee-" He says.

"This is literally my worst nightmare." I say.

"I-" He says.

"I've sleeping in the same bed as the woman who-" I say.

"Can you fucking stop?!" He asks.

"For past 7 years I've been trying to please you over some stupid and childish drama." He says.

"I can't hang out with Sophia because she used to date Y/n. I can't listen to a song because Y/n produced it. I can't even buy a fucking t-shirt because Y/n endorses the company." Griffin says.

"What's next? Do I have to call off my wedding because she's Y/n's sister?!" Griffin asks.

"No-" I say.

"So stop fucking complaining! I have been trying to make everyone else happy my entire life and I'm not gonna let you ruin my happiness now over some childish bullshit." Griffin says.

"This shit started when you were 20, you're 27 now. Grow up." Griffin says.

Griffin gets up and walks away.

"Fuck." I mumble.

"No way." Max says laughing.

"It's not funny." I say.

"It's very funny." Max says.

"I told you he looked like Hailee." Max says.

"I thought you were joking!" I say.

Max laughs and I sigh.

"Why do you guys even hate each other?" Max asks.

"I dunno what her problem is, I didn't have a problem with her until she ignored me at that party." I say.

"So you're mad she did say hi to you?" Max asks, laughing.

"No, she's just so entitled." I say.

"So where are you right now?" Max asks.

"I'm just walking around for as long as possible because I wanna be in that room for as little as possible." I say.

"That's suspicious." Max says.

"What is?" I ask.

"A 6 foot-something giant roaming the hotel halls at 11 o'clock at night." Max says.

"Well, the last time I saw Hailee she was drinking, so she's probably already knocked out." I say.

"Probably." He says.

"Did you feed Dex?" I ask.

"What?" He asks.

"Dexter, my dog." I say.

"I... actually haven't seen him... all day." He says.

"Max." I say.

"I'm sure he's fine, I'll call you tomorrow." He says.

"I swear to-" I say.

He ends the FaceTime and I sigh. I walk to the elevator and press the button. The doors open and I take the elevator up to floor 9. I walk down the hall and see Hailee laying on the floor.

"Are you alive?" I ask, looking down at her.

She groans and I sigh. I unlock the room door and hold it open with my foot. I pick her up and carry her inside.

"May I suggest losing a few pounds?" I ask, shutting the door with my back.

I put her down on the bed and sigh. She mumbles and I go in the bathroom.

I slowly open my eyes and groan.

"My fucking head." I mumble.

I get up and see Y/n standing in the bathroom. I stare at her and she looks at me.

"Definitely not the first thing I wanna see when I wake up." I say.

"Shut up, bitch. I could've left your dumbass in that hallway but I might've actually felt sorry for you if something bad happened." Y/n says.

"What?" I ask.

"You don't remember making it back do you? That's because your drunk ass passed out in the hallway. Get that shit under control, you might not get so lucky next time." Y/n says.

"You don't tell me how to live my life and I won't tell you got to live yours." I say.

"That's your fucking problem, you just don't care. You don't care about others and you don't even care about yourself." Y/n says.

"That's bullshit." I say.

"It's bullshit but you dictate your brother's life over some drama that you started." She says.

"I started it?!" I ask.

"Yeah. I was actually a fan of your mediocre "acting" before you acted like a brat at that party." She says.

"No, you started it that night at the VMAs." I say.

"You're schizophrenic if you think I even spoke to you that night. I never said a word to you." She says.

"I was having a conversation with Ethan, you interrupted it, I said something to Ethan, and walked away." She says.

"That is not what happened." I say.

"I'm not about to argue with an alcoholic who's been bullying me ever since I was a fucking kid." She says.

She walks out of the bathroom and grabs a room key. She leaves and I sigh.
