𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟲 𝖭𝖾𝗌𝗌𝖺'𝗌 𝖯𝖮𝖵
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓, filled with an uncomfortable tension that hung in the air of the Impala. Once we finally reached the warehouse, Sam and I guided Dean up the elevator wall, mirroring the actions from earlier in the day. Sam skillfully slipped into the room first, his movements as quiet as a whisper, while Meg remained oblivious with her back turned, immersed in her ancient incantations. Dean and I followed suit, our bodies pressed against the wall as we cautiously made our way towards the back of the room. Dean tossed a weapon to Sam, who caught it with a swift grace. With a quick motion, I discreetly revealed my cocked and loaded Beretta from beneath my flannel shirt.
Together, the three of us stealthily maneuvered to the opposite side of the room, utilizing the crates as shields. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation, our hearts pounding in our chests as we prepared for the inevitable confrontation. Abruptly, Meg ceased her chanting, causing a wave of unease to sweep over us. As we exchanged bewildered glances, Dean, Sam, and I found ourselves frozen in place.
Meg's voice pierced the silence, her words laced with a hint of mockery. "Guys," she taunted, causing our eyes to widen in surprise. "Hiding's a little bit childish, don't you think?"
