Unexpected Affairs

Chapter 6

The 4 days of hell ended and It finally fell upon Myles' birthday. It was 11:30 when I left my house to Sacramento so I'd get there at about 1:30ish possibly 2:00 depending on traffic. I plopped the cake I had made the night before next to me. It was a Reese's flavored cake designed to look like a Vans Box with a pair of dirty vans leaning on the side of it.

I hopped in my car wearing a wavy, jersey like material top, white high waisted shorts, with my all white Sk8 Hi's. I managed my time wisely by doing my make-up in the car because who wants to look like a rat on their mans birthday and or show up late to where they need to be? Nobody. It was insanely hot in the car so I stopped at Sonic's to get a nerds slushie, reminder I was gonna be in Sacramento!!

When arriving at the venue I pulled into the alley way where girls were lined up for tonight or waiting for a figure that knows Kalin or Myles such as I too attend. I dialed Kalin's phone number and asked him to bring the cake inside. Once he came out the amount of fans surrounding the car doubled.

"Okay guys, I'm going to ask you all to get back in line. For one we have Myles' precious cake in the process of getting inside and wouldn't want it to get ruined or fall, second I wouldn't want any of you beautiful ladies to lose your spots in line!!", said politely. I respected their fans so much. The love and way both the boys connect to them is outstanding.

I saw Myles sound-checking, standing at the front of the stage with a microphone in hand, gazing into the non-existent crowd. I hugged him from behind. He glanced over his shoulder discovering it was me. He turned around, lifted me off my feet, and spun me in circles, still in his arms.

We talked and asked each other how the 4 days went. You may think 'wow four days big deal', we've never went a day without seeing each other so we have to adjust. Alyssa got here also about an hour later and we hung out backstage.

I sat on the couches that were around the room, our families the room flooding with laughs from each other. It was now showtime. The boys were half way through the show when Kalin ran backstage to help me bring the cake out since it was a good weight to carry. Kalin then took the full cake while Jake handed me a mic.

"On three we're going to sing happy birthday to Myles ready..1, 2, 3." The crowd sang in unison, coming towards the closing of the song Kalin approached Myles with the cake. I had the instinct to push Myles closer to Kalin because he started backing away. Next thing you know Myles was covered in colored frosting. He managed to catch some in his hand throwing some onto my left leg and face. Since my face was covered in sugary substance, Myles walked over to me kissing me on the lips.

"Reese's?"

The stage was covered in cake, luckily we saved part of it to eat. The boys and I went backstage to get cleaned up taking about 9 minutes. I stayed backstage for a minute after the boys returned, shortly after I went into the crowd to join my family in the very back.

After the show, family gathered up into the bus. We talked for hours. Relatives not noticing Myles and I went to the back of the bus where beats and music gets made and recorded on the road. He showed me what he'd been working on which was some pretty sick stuff. I had the headphones on but having him in my presence made me extremely happy. I took the headphones off once the song ended and complemented how perfect everything flows. Myles got up putting his laptop and headphones away, on his way back tripping over a leg of the keyboard. I laughed so much, he pouted embarrassed. He smacked his lips into mine. Us both breathing heavily, he sat down our lips still in lock; I sitting on his lap facing him. The door of the room opened Myles and I looking back in shock seeing who it was. It was Kalin of course always being curious, him smirking at both of us.

"Uh uh Kalin don't get any ideas now, non of that happening anytime soon.", I laughed turning back to Myles chuckling. "Okay, I definitely believe you!! Get that Myles!!" He said in sarcasm quickly shutting the door knowing if I had the chance to choke him I would.
