Unexpected Affairs

Chapter 14

"It's rather fatal that happened for you too faint but I am pleased to tell you the baby is alright and there is nothing to worry about. We will be keeping you here to stay over night for 1-2 days depending on how your breathing improves, okay?" Getting up from his small rolling chair we responded and were left alone.

"Is Myles here?" Turning to Kalin getting a shocked look on his face to request to see him.

"Yes why?" Tilting his head questioning me.

"Can you get him and bring him heare please?" He got up leaving me in peace shutting my eyes for a moment until Myles returned.

I heard a clink from the door nob and came in Myles. He swallowed harshly and all so quickly he began crying.

Panic Attack.

He would have these occasionally ever since I'd got in the car accident years ago. He covered his eyes with his hands his upper body hunched over his knees while he sat. When he looked up his face was red, weeps escaping as he had trouble breathing. I extended my arms into a hug and he laid next to me in the hospital bed.

"Brooke, I'm a fucking mess without you. Look at me. Compared to how maintained you've been especially the stress caused by me putting a mindset that'd you would have to raise OUR child on your own. I'm sorry." Staring up at the beige ceiling wall I listened carefully to his apology and gave him a small smile kissing him on his forehead pushing back his excess curls.

"I'd want to work this out.I can't accept the fact of how selfish I was to act so rude towards you. I was scared. We're both 22, I pursuing my dreams and you sticking right by me but I'm more than happy to have a little one join you also. I'm willing to commit to growing up with our child and raising it together. Only if you wish. Do you mind thinking over it?" Looking over to me with his light brown eyes, examining his freckles I made my decision.

I then percieved that his lower lip was bleeding and had a large cut featuring a bruise along with it on his left eyebrow. He still managed to look attractive while being jacked up.

"What happened there?" My long acrilic nail brushing over the open wound.

"Kalin punched me, he didn't know what was going on when he found you in my arms and he was munch angrier when I told him what happened." A nervous laugh escaping his pink lips.

I sighed. Kalin's actions have came too far. Does he not want me to repair my relationship with the father of my child? It's best to put a foot down before it turns to a much more impactful case.

After a few days tour was over. We made it clear we'd have a barbecue every end of tours to reward everyone for their hard work. It was made to be at a park where not only was there open grass and tables but an indoor public pool which was cleaner than most and one all of us had grown up going to.

I wore a bikini, which wasn't the wisest decision since I had a small bump showing. I arrived at the pool and all of the guys were swimming Alyssa there before I. Slipping into the pool I hugged everyone's wet bodies when I was instantly pulled by Kalin out.

"What are you doing?" I grabbing his large hand loosening the tight grip on my wrist. He pulled me into a hidden area covered by a large tree which made me troubled.

"Listen, Brooke. Ever since Alyssa brought you to that party I felt a connection. Every event following that day I was introduced to you I wanted to ask you out. Sadly I didn't ask in time."

He placed his hand below my chin lifting it up to meet his, which I didn't approve and quickly pushed away when met. Awful timing, everyone rushed to see the odd action Kalin had done. Jake, Alyssa, and Myles witnessing every few seconds of that scene.

Storming off Myles upset, Jake rubbing the back of his neck out of the awkwardness. Alyssa was pissed. Long ago she had a secret love for him. His smile made her eyes light up and every time she'd be with him she was classified as the "Happiest Human Being".

Of course I'd never want to date Kalin, specifically because the affection she had towards him in which I didn't want to interfere.

"What is wrong with you? You've caused enough Brooke." Having the nerve she did I instantly became upset.

"This is a big misunderstanding, Kalin kissed me. I'm sure I'd have enough common sense not to fuck up let alone how the situation is at. Why do you care all of a sudden? Last time I checked you were more concerned with being locked up in that room wishing Kalin would date you." Brushing off Kalin's arm from my shoulder.

"Alright, obviously I'd care once my  "Best Friend" starts being a bit to generous with herself." Motioning hand gestures to follow along with "Best Friend".

I stormed off. Everyone just seemed so against me half the time. I didn't know what to do. I sat in my car frustrated. I not having any family other than my friends family which I couldn't go to at this time was sad. I had nobody. Only person blood related to me around and living was my aunt. Unfortunately she lived in San Diego. Me being the person I am didn't mind a 9 hour drive.

I cruised into the apartment loading zone and walked up the marble stairs holding onto the thin black railing. Clearing out my entire room I took everything that was mine. Leaving the house key on the kitchen counter I wished I would've left this place sooner. From the cups to the TV everything was packed into heavy duty cardboard boxes.

It was 8:32. Estimating I'd probably get to San Diego around 6 AM including stops.
