Unexpected Affairs

Chapter 11

Alyssa was more than happy when I told her about my pregnancy only thing making her upset was the news I delivered about Myles and his actions with Pearl.

"So I got an appointment for Wednesday, tomorrow. Kalin's coming also he invited himself." I said looking over the pink flash card like slip of paper I had received in the mail. Laying down on black leather recliner I switched on the television.

It must've been morning since Kalin was staring at me creepily at the end of the couch probably waiting for me to wake.

" What time is it? " Rubbing my eyes I sat up in an upright position. I walked into Alyssa's room and asked her if she still wanted to come, I didn't want to make her go if she was really exhausted but, she managed to go.

I sat in the passenger seat while Kalin drove and Alyssa sat in the back seat. They were both dressed rather properly while I was in some sweats and a hoodie.

Arriving where told mandatory to check in I was greeted by an elderly women seated behind the old salmon colored desk. Guided to the doctors office I was seated on what looked like sort of a reclining chair, enabled to move by the touch of small remote.

The doctor came in and I said hello with a polite smile. She asked me how I've been, what my symptoms have been, and any other information it was a must to collect.

She did the normal procedures of checking a pregnancy. "Would your boyfriend like to try it out?" She said gesturing Kalin the ultra sound wand, putting a glob of jelly dispensed from a small tube onto my miniature bump causing goosebumps from the temperature.

"He's..haha..not my boyfriend, best friend." I corrected.

Kalin gladly followed everything the women told, a small heart beat of my little 3 month old fetus filling the room as tears began forming in my eyes. He comported and hugged me.

That should've been Myles.
