Many were impressed by Narrine's intelligence. In the past three months, he has shown diligence and brilliance. Even Thara was impressed. Many were delighted. Many were also envious. Add to this the fact that Thara is getting closer to him, which is envied by the girls. The same goes for Thomas, who always approaches Narrine. Mia also showed herself to Narrine and Thara. Mia apologized profusely to Narrine for what happened. Narrine was delighted to see Mia again. They are also part of the soul warriors group at their school. This is prohibited, but because Mild is a child of one of the stockholders, it was allowed by the school.
"So, this is our first orientation for this group. I expect that everyone here has unusual abilities to see souls, bad or good. Am I right?" Everyone nodded. "I am Mild, and I hide this group not to be laughed at by others and called crazy. I did this to help people who ask for help even though they are already in the afterlife."
Thara just looked at Narrine and quietly observed. "If you're here to spy, you better get out of here. Because you wouldn't want me to personally kick you out of the four corners of this room," Mild said threateningly. Narrine glanced around, feeling Mia move closer to him.
"Don't worry, Narrine, you're not crazy. You really see me, you all see me. But only selective people. Isn't that right, Mild?" Mia shouted, laughing.
"I oriented myself properly here, Ms. Mia. Don't mess with me. I can see you, even smell you. You smell rotten," Mild said, squinting in Narrine's direction. Thara laughed, and Mia scratched her head because of it.
"See? Even Mild saw me."
"Don't mind me, my friend over there is pestering my new friends, Thara and Narrine," Mia said, and everyone looked in their direction.
Their activities continued, from teaching how to control emotions and oneself when encountering unpleasant souls, to being given a Bible and holy water.
"Are you okay, Narrine?" Narrine looked at Thara and nodded. "Just tell me if you're feeling anything different."
"Thank you, Thara. Don't worry. I'm okay," she said, smiling broadly at Thara. Mild approached them, and they didn't notice that the other members had already left, leaving only the three of them.
"Are you okay, Narrine?" Mild asked.
"Can I ask you about Mia?" Narrine hesitated.
"Oh, what face is that? Don't worry. I'm ready for that question," Mild said, sitting beside them.
"How..." Narrine hadn't finished speaking when Mild interrupted.
"She's my family friend," surprising the two.
"Why didn't you say you knew her? We've known each other for a long time, Mild," Thara's voice was annoyed.
"Because it was ordered. I mean, I wanted to tell you. It's been a long time. But my parents said not to disclose it to anyone, even you. I'm sorry, Thara."
"Why?" Narrine asked again.
"Because if others find out about her, even those people, Mia will be in trouble," Mild looked around.
"At first, I was confused. Not until I met him," Mild whispered.
"Can you please just tell us straight? We're friends, Mild, since elementary school. Why hide this from me now?" Thara seemed disappointed.
"Sorry, friend, but I'm doing this for Mia. Even I have a lot to tell you. Especially you, Narrine. But I choose not to, not now. So please, don't pester me. I'll be the one in trouble with my mom, especially with that person. Before, I didn't understand. But when he explained everything, he was right. So please, even if you don't understand now, in the right time, I will explain everything," Mild looked at Narrine. "I finally meet you," and he hugged Narrine tightly. "Nicole..."
----------
"I hope you're doing well now. I heard how well you're doing in school. I'm so proud of you. See you soonest. Always remember that I love you always. Take care. Just chat me if you need anything. Don't hesitate to contact me. Love you, my love." Narrine smiled at the gift he received: new clothes and shoes.
"Do you like it?" Narrine looked at his dad. He nodded, smiling.
"I really do, dad. But can't you tell me who this person really is? I want to meet him or her. Super." He hugged Kao, but he shook his head.
"That person doesn't want us to tell you yet, dear. Not for now. But For now, just feel the love of the person who gave you that," Jom, hid mother, said as she served food.
"What about you, big brother? I know you know something." Hid brother shook his head.
"I haven't met or seen them either. Even I want to see them, at least to thank them for the help they've given me."
"Dad, mom, I want that too. My brother and I feel the same. Why doesn't she or him want to let us know?" Narrine said, pouting. Kao ruffled his hair.
"Not now, my dear. Just wait for the right time. We'll get there. Hmm? Let's eat? The food is getting cold." Narrine couldn't do anything and set aside the gifts given to him by that person. No matter how much he insisted to his parents, he couldn't convince them. He just sat beside his brother and ate.
"Are you okay, bro?" The man said to the other man who was just staring out the window at the dark clouds with a bright moon.
"I don't know. I miss them. I wonder how my wife is, and my child, who I know is in good hands." He smiled sadly. The man sat down and faced the pale man, tall with a closed beard.
"Here you are again. You're in a negative state again. Live because you have a purpose. Do you think Nattarine would be happy to see you like this? Your child, do you think they would be happy? Everything has a reason. Use this as strength to fight..."
"But they are the reason I fight. But they are gone. They are my life." He said tearfully.
"I know, and I feel what I'm saying that everything happens for a reason, and that reason is close. Just trust. Why don't you..."
"I know what you're going to say. Why don't I reveal myself as his real father? For what? To disturb his quiet life? To disturb his family's life, My own sibling." He shook his head. "I would rather die alone than see my child suffer at the hands of soulless people. He clenched his fists.
"It's not the time yet. He will pay for what he did to my family. Even to Nattarine."
"Mew..."
"I'm going to sleep. Close all the doors, even the windows. The gates. Because the school is opening again. There are students trying to enter this house to turn it into a haunted house." Mew stood up, left his servant, and went upstairs to his room.
He sighed. "Oh, Gulf, if I didn't love your husband, I would have left this place a long time ago. I'm going crazy." Intoy said. "Maybe you should haunt him sometime. To wake him up." And he left the house to follow Mew's orders.
