"Be careful on your way, Thara, you're in charge of Narrine. I've already informed your parents that you're on your way home," Mild told Thara and Narrine. The rain had stopped, and they were about to head home. After everything that had happened, Narrine's eyes were swollen, and he was silent. Before she got into the car, he looked up and saw Mew on the balcony, staring at him with no expression. Thara also looked and nodded.

The entire trip was quiet, and Narrine didn't acknowledge Thara, which made him even more worried. They arrived at Narrine's house, where Jom and Tay were waiting, looking concerned.

"Oh my God! Narrine, what happened to you? Why did you do that? You really worried us a lot, your dad and I. You know you're still not fully recovered!" Jom said, crying. Narrine just stared at her, and they were all surprised when he suddenly started crying. He hugged Jom. They looked at Thara, wondering what had happened, but he simply bowed as a sign of apology.

Flashback:

"I know that you know exactly what I'm talking about.....Dad." Narrine stood up from the bed and walked over to Mew.

"My mom said I lost my memories from when I was a child because of an accident, so I don't remember anything from my childhood. But I always dream about an incident—shouting, crying..." Narrine continued to cry, and Mew just looked at him. "N-Nicole, I feel like I'm that kid, the one who witnessed how mercilessly his parents were harmed that de-demon..." Mew wiped away the tears that fell down his cheek.

"Every night, those incidents chase me," he added. "When I heard the story about this mansion, about your names, my dreams slowly started to make sense. It's like there were explanations." Narrine wiped his tears.

"A-am I Nicole Jongcheevevat?"Mew took a deep breath and smiled.

"You could write a book, kid." Narrine's eyes widened in surprise. "But you're wrong about what you're thinking. You're probably just tired from the trip. Go ahead and rest. Intoy will wake you up when the food is ready." Mew immediately turned away, and Narrine couldn't believe what he had just heard. Without thinking, he quickly hugged Mew from behind and cried even harder.

"Please... just tell me the truth! I heard everything. I heard you and Thara, Dad..." Narrine's voice trembled as he faced Mew. This time, Mew was crying, too. He gently held both of Narrine's cheeks, as Narrine's sobs continued uncontrollably. Mew wiped away his  tears, but they just kept falling.

"It's better if we bury this in the past. You have a happy, peaceful life now with your new parents. Your life would be chaotic if you're with me," Mew said softly, kissing Narrine's forehead. "Be careful on your way home later, Just send my regards to your parents. I hope you understand my decision; this is also for your own good."

Narrine stood frozen, the weight of Mew's words sinking in. He couldn't breathe, as if his chest had tightened in an unbearable knot. He wanted to protest, to scream that he needed answers—that he needed his dad—but his voice caught in his throat.

"dad, please..." Narrine whispered, his voice cracking. "Don't leave me. You can't just go like this... I need you. I need to understand everything."

Mew stepped back, his eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and resolve. "It's better this way, Narrine," he said softly, wiping the remaining tears from his own face. "If I stay, it will only bring more pain. I've already caused enough hurt. This is the only way."He paused, his voice breaking as he added, "I just want you to be happy, even if it's without me. just assume that I'm already dead."
